I am considering buying a BCV resale to add to my already existing AKV ownership. I've heard so many wonderful stories about how great the resort is and how much fun SAB is as well. Unfortunately, I have not yet visited BCV and am hoping to do so some time next year after our March AKV trip.

Tell me -- what is your favorite time of year to visit BCV -- with LIMITED park visits? Looking to spend most of the time at BCV, with a day or so for the parks.

Thanks!:goodvibes

We like it any time, but tend to use it for spring break the most. VWL at XMAS and BWV in August. It just seems to really satisfy our winter blues the most, and the weather is usually perfect.

We had a family vacation to BCV last November and it was way too cold, not cool, to enjoy SAB. I decided not to spend the points for any winter/late fall "all family" stays in BCV. So, we went in late May this year, and we ran into the "deluge!" The family hasn't really fully enjoyed BCV/SAB in spite of the fact that they've spent 9 nights there.

Our next BCV all family vacation will be next summer. I'm hoping we hit good weather in July!!!:goodvibes

For my solo or "couple only" vacations we've been very very lucky with early May. Have almost never had anything but "perfect SAB" weather in early May!

March! That is our favorite time there. Points are higher but the weather is usually perfect. Warm days and cooler nights. The pool is so much fun we don't miss the parks!

I love traveling in March -- we were there this past March to SSR (developer points) and are going next March as well to AKV (our first trip home). I may have to schedule a trip the following year and pray to get a 1BR at BCV during Spring break or after school finishes in June. (Not sure if I am going to be successful 7 months out.) I am already taking my son out of Kindergarten in December 2010 for a week so that we can experience Disney Christmas for the first time. Not so sure it will be wise to take him out for a 2nd week in the same school year. :sad2:

Then comes 1st grade and who knows....:confused3 May have to consider "Jersey week" in November so that he only misses 2-1/2 days.

You can't go wrong with BCV. We've been in summer, Easter and October. In fact we are going back this summer. SAB was crazy in June, but the quiet pool was really"quiet". I hear what you're saying about taking the kids out of school. Despite the heat, maybe summer would be an option. I will tell you October was perfect in every way, but it sounds like for now, you've got to work around school schedules as do we. Good luck!

Early May, and you still have access to the EPCOT Flower Festival.
