BCV balcony question

We are staying at BVC this April and I have read different things about the room balconies. My question is: Are all of the balconies full size with at least two chairs and a small table or are some of the balconies standing room only? My husband loves to sit on the balcony. He told me we could stay where ever I wanted the only thing he wants is a nice balcony. If there are standing room only balconies what are the chances we will get one if we have a two bedroom. I wasn't sure where to post this thread THANKS!

In the villas, all balconies are full balconies. At the resort, there are a mix of full and standing.

In a 2 BR, you will get 2 balconies - I'm not sure of all the room configurations at BCV, but we had 2 separate balconies, but on the 2nd floor below us there was/were at least 1 BIG balcony that was all connected - there's no GVs at BCV, so that must have been a 2 BR as well.

Hi: the two separate balconies might be from a 2 br lock-off. We had a dedicated 2 br there this past May, and it had 1 long balcony.

For reference, here is a photo of one of the long balconies we had in 2007 in a 2 BR:

I believe the room was 233 or something like that.

Yes, that would be the SAME balcony that was below our room that I mentioned above - it was huge - we were in 334! We had a 2 BR dedicated, but it had 2 separate balconies.

The balconies are not all the same either - ours was 1 off the living room and 1 off the master BR, none in the 2nd bedroom portion. Others have posted different configurations.

Was that 2 bedroom a lock off? We stayed at BCV in January in a studio and had a huge balcony. I don't remember the room number, but it was right next to a supply closet. I think it was on the 4th floor.

From what I can remember, I think room 233 is a 2 BR dedicated. But it was almost 2 years ago and my memory is a bit fuzzy. I kind of doubt they would have a balcony that included the entire length of both bedrooms, if they could be used as separate rooms, however. We did enjoy it. When we stayed this past March we had the normal balconies, which are similar to the ones in the background of the photo I posted.

One thing that picture makes clear is that there are very different balcony sizes as BCV. While are are big enough to sit on - some of them are "just barely". Many are normal sized, and some are huge.

If balcony is important, request a big balcony.

Sorry, I used to think that was true but our room last month was an exception. We had a dedicated 2 bedroom with one small balcony--room 451 to be exact. We were on the 4th floor, at the end. The room was great except for the balcony situation. It was our only disappointment in the room!!
I don't know if ours was/is the only one like that or not. Just an FYI so someone could be prepared!

That is a bummer - I just looked that room up on the BCV layout and I see that's over on the Epcot side at the end - interesting.

I would be bummed too if I had a 2 BR with just 1 regular size/smallish balcony.

So it just goes to show there's all kinds of different configurations - like a PP said - but they are all big enough at the BC Villas to have chairs on them, no stand-up balconies. (and hopefully no one comes along and says that's not true either)!
