BCV availability in May with 7 month window

Hi,
I would like to try to stay at BCV next May, probably the last week of May, and was wondering what my chances were in getting in there at 7 months? I am flexible with either a studio or 1 br. Is that a difficult time to get in? Also, if I go on and book at my home resort (SSR) now, is it easy for them to switch it over to BCV or another one when I am able to call or should I just wait until then?

May is one of the easier months to book at 7 months. I think you will get your reservation, especially since you are willing to take a 1 bedroom. Those seem to book up more slowly than studios or 2 bedrooms.

For whatever it's worth, we joined DVC as new members December 2009 and were able to book a 1-bedroom no problem for May 2010 (5/15-5/22). Good Luck... We LOVE BCV

Stay away from Memorial Day and you should be fine! May is such a beautiful month weather-wise.
