BCV at Spring Break

My daughter and I are planning our spring break trip and she really wants to stay at BCV. AK is my home resort so I have booked there in hopes of being able to change to BCV at the 7 mos. mark. Is there any chance of us getting in? Also, I have heart that you can see the Epcot fireworks from BCV. Anyone know if it is true? Do I need to request a specific room?

I have points there and haven't used them in 4 years. It is a last resort "resort" for us since our children are grown. ifyou had hilton head points I say lets trade.

We just called last week to check availability at BLT, BCV and BWV for a 4 day weekend in early March. We checked for 2 studios as opposed to a 1 bedroom to save on the points.

We found availability at all 3 for the 4-9 of March (not quite Spring Break time) and booked at BLT.

If you are flexible on your dates and roomtype, you can be successful even at 7 months.

We booked BCV last week for a studio from March 12 to 20. You should just call now and book it. I believe they still have availability.

I just called on the 18th and was able to get my first choice of a 1 bedroom at BCV for 4 nights in March (18th to 21 st).It will be following our 4 day cruise on the Wonder.My grandkids will love the pool there, and so will I.

Make a reservation your home resort now. Then at 7 months out, see if you can switch that reservation to BCV.

We are AKV owners as well, and were able to switch last year for spring break to BCV (1 BR). Be sure to call right at 9am on the day you can move over to have the best chance. If it doesn't work be sure to wait list it.

We want to do the same thing..We are AKV owners and want BCV for our spring break which is late april.....the dates are the19th-23rd....I will keep my fingers crossed at the 7 month mark

That's so funny, because we are bcv owners and are trying to decide whether to book AKV for April! We really would love to try a concierge studio, you wouldn't know if they're booked up yet, would you? (the 14th-22nd)

They book up real fast at 11 months. They do get cancelled sometimes, but not usually available at 7 months out. You might find a day here or there, but not usually the night before or the night of the Sunrise Safari.

I had luck with this today. Got BCV studio for March 20-27. Don't know when you are going or which type of room but I would think you have a good chance at 7 month mark.

I was worried too, but I was also able to switch this morning to a 2-bedroom for March 20-27.
She asked me if I wanted a dedicated, which I was surprised by. I'm not sure it was available, since I need the lockoff, but it sounded like it may have been...good luck to you!

Wow, I guess we'll see you there. I am going to try to get the same thing. I already have ressie for AKV just in case but am going to try to switch the last 3 nights to BCV at 7 months. We will be hoping for a 2br. What about you?

I would just try to do the wait list at the 7 MO mark. It's worth a try.... You could also try the other resorts if you did not want to stay at AKL.

Sorry for the delay in the response. When we booked there was no concierge available at 10 months out. I would waitlist because it can come through.
