BCV at 7 months

We're currently looking into the DVC. If we go ahead and purchase, we will probably do resale at BCV or BWV. I can't make up my mind. I love the Boardwalk area, and Stormalong Bay looks fun. If we go with BWV, how hard would it be to book at BCV at 7 months out? We'd probably go in September, late May or early June.

We were able to book a 2br dedicated room at BCV at the 5 1/2 month mark for this past July....(end of July) with no problems.

You'll probably be fine during those times. But anything from October 1st to January 15th is pretty tough in that area. I would suggest buying BCV. The reason is because it is so small, it is the toughest to get at times.

We've been able to book a studio at 7 months for the past two summers. We stayed late July- early August for about 10 days both times. No problem!

I bought at BCV because I didn't want to chance not getting what I wanted at the 11 month window. However, even though I did, I still had a problem with 7 month for one night in a studio during F&W.

We were able to get a studio for Columbus Day w/e 2007.

We just booked BCV for May with no problems at our 7m window. We have been able to book BWV twice now at about 2m out for Sept the last two years when BCV was not available. BWV is much bigger and it doesn't seem like the perfered views go as fast. BCV is smaller, so at popular times and shorter notice it will likely be harder to get.

We just booked BCV at 7 mos out also. This was for the crazy busy week of Spring Break (Easter Week) We had no problem with the exception of our very first day which is a Thursday. We are waitlisted for that day.
