We will be staying at the BCV and our return home flight is not until 5pm.

I know we need to check out by 11, but if we choose to go to the pool, are there changing areas? I'm thinking no, but just want to check.

We were allowed to use the health club showers/locker room area to change. We have also changed out at the quiet pool but I don't think there are showers there.

There actually is a shower in the ladies room at the villas pool, BUT - it's just one big room with a toilet, sink, and a shower stall (with a curtain or nothing from what I recall). So if you wanted to do that you would have to lock the entire bathroom and prevent any one else from using it, so that probably wouldn't be a good plan. Maybe that shower is just intended for the pre-swim / post-swim rinse off? So anyway - most likely irrelevant information! :rotfl:

I've used the health club shower/locker room and it's satisfactory!

We will be doing the same thing - thanks for asking the question! Does anyone know if the CMs in the health club will let a child accompany their parent to change there? If not, no biggie.

So envious. We always do late afternoon or evening flight home as well, and usually from BCV. Delta takes the bags and gives us our boarding pass making the day so enjoyable-even though its the last day. We always leave a carryon at bell and walk over to EPCOT for lunch. Then back to SAB and the beach for the last afternoon-pure heaven. Just keep a plastic Disney bag for the swim suits. Its our custom to sit out on the beach until its time to board ME, hard to leave but start planning next for next time. :wizard:

We will have a car, so that will allow for extra time. Thanks for all the info and if anyone knows about the kids, that would help as well. I never thought they may not be allowed in the fitness center.

Here's another question. We don't use ME, but i know last time we were at FW Cabins and we used RAC for Southwest just for checking bags. Is Southwest available at Beach Club too?? That would really save some time too.

I remember children in the locker/shower room when I used it.

We were just at beach club villas and were able to check bags for southwest airlines a couple weeks ago at the resort, although we were registered for ME as well. You might want to double check with MS if you need to at least have your flight registered with magical express to just check bags as I am not sure how the system works. Have a great trip!

Magical Express (ME) and Resort Airline Check In (RAC) are two separate entities, you can use just one, both, or none. You will be able to check just your bags at BC and use your rental car to get back to the airport.
