BCV 7 months for Thanksgiving???

We are Boardwalk owners and have always stayed there and love it. We are planning to go next year for the week of Thanksgiving. We have a new grandson and he would love SAB. When my other grandkids were toddlers we were allowed to use SAB. Now that perk has been taken away. What are the chances of getting a 2 bedroom at BCV Thanksgiving week at seven months out?

My home resort is BCV, and I couldn't get in there for this Thanksgiving at 9 months out let alone 7. I wouldn't be too optimistic. Best thing to do is lock up a reservation at your home resort, and then waitlist for BCV. Hopefully you'll get lucky. I love being there Thanksgiving time, from now on I'll always book it exactly 11 months out and do day by day just to make sure.

This year I had to settle for either OKW or SSR as they were the only ones available at 7 months, so I took OKW. You definitely have to give yourself a reminder it's so easy to forget about because booking time is at the same time as the Christmas Holidays.

You know, you may have luck. skelooch's experience is definitely valid, as s/he owns at BCV and wasn't able to get in at 9 months for the time period you're looking for. However, just today I finished making day-by-day reservations at BCV for March 23-28, 2008. March 23 is Easter Sunday. We had no problems. I was shocked, to be honest. I was at least expecting to hear, "Wow - you're lucky you got something as we're getting full fast!" Nothing of that sort. So, all that to say, I would consider Easter a high-occupancy week, although I know spring break time is a bit different because for some districts SB is the week before Easter, for others (minie) it's after, and still others are in April not attached to Easter week at all. Basically, give it a shot. Call day-by-day at 9 AM if possible, and hope for the best. You may be pleasantly surprised!
