BCV 2BR - bathrooms

I know that there is a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom of the Beach Club Villas 2BR. What about the other bathroom in a dedicated 2BR (1 queen 1 sofabed)? Does it have a bath/shower combo? A shower stall?

Bathtub with a shower, not a shower stall.

I thought a Dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV has two beds in the second room, not a bed and sofa? Can anyone clarify?

It depends - there are both. You should request a dedicated 2 BR with 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom when booking if that's what you need.

There are two different types of two bedroom dedicated at BCV.

25 have two queens in the second bedroom

the rest have queen bed and full sofa sleeper.

if you want the two queens you have to book them at the time you make your reservation.

Oh I didn't know that. I thought Dedicated meant that there was not lock off section. I am not sure what my sister requested just know she said it was a dedicated 2 br villa. I guess we will see one week from today. I am kinda hoping for a bed and sofa since my DH and me will have that room.

I assume the rest is the same with the bathrooms being the same. Is there a door that closes off the second bedroom? I know we will want privacy. Thanks!

There was a design "error" where some of the second bedrooms in the BCV dedicated 2 bedrooms were not large enough for 2 queens. So they put a queen and double sofabed. They are still dedicated, just a regular door that closes, not a double connecting door. No exit to the hall from the second bedroom, no kitchenette.

the door connecting the two areas is in the entrance way. You will have the privacy you want.

Actually in those dedicated 2 BRs on the "bends" of BCV (with the sofa bed instead of a 2nd queen) - the connecting door is in the back of the room between the TV cabinet and the sliding glass doors.

For those who have stayed in the Dedicated 2 Brdms on the "bends" how did you like them? We booked a ded. 2bdrm with the sofa and am considering the rooms on the bend as an option if they are available at check in.

We thought it was wonderful BUT it was an upgrade from a studio for a few nights - I think we were paying cash for a few nights in the middle of our trip (it was a long trip - it's all kind of fuzzy now!). So we were so excited about it, I probably wouldn't have noticed any issue with it!

It had a balcony off the living room, and one off the master bedroom, but did not have one in the 2nd bedroom part.

I can't remember the room # - you can check the BCV maps - it was 342 or 324 I *think* - and I'm too lazy to go dig it up.

I was on the bedroom balcony taking this, and my husband was on the LR balcony and you can see one of our kids in the window of the 2nd BR.

Looks good to me! DS & DD will be sharing the bed most likely. Daughter likes to be able to sit on a sofa to watch some TV rather than a bed. I may see if I can snag one of these facing the quiet pool. AHHHHH... can't wait!

If you click on any of those, it will take you to my PB album and there are photos on either side of those that show the view (quiet pool) and a few more shots of the room. No photos of the 1 BR part though, since we had stayed in a 1 BR a few days earlier and had lots of photos of what that looked like.

I love the quiet pool view. We will be at BC tomorrow, but at the resort, not the villas. I can't wait!
