BCV 2 bedroom question

My DW just made a reservation for 2 bedroom at BCV for the first week of June next year. She requested the 2nd bedroom with 2 beds, rather than 1 qeen and a pull out. She told me that MS told her that 2nd bedroom with 2 beds are not available for the period we booked.

Does anyone know, if this is because the rumered remodeling at the BCV? When is the planed remodeling at BCV?

I imagine it just means all dedicated villas with 2 queens in the 2nd BR have already been booked. There are only 25 units like that.

I hadn't heard about remodeling. What is supposed to happen?

We booked a 2BR at BCV for early May right at the 7 month mark. There were none available at that time either with 2 queens in the 2nd BR. We did get a dedicated 2BR although it's with a queen + a pullout. BCV is small to begin with and there aren't many 2 queen 2BRs available. They are usually snatched up by members who own at BCV between the 11month and 7month mark.

When we went this past May, I booked us for a 2 BR with 2Q at the 7 month mark. We checked in on Memorial Day and left that Friday. I will say though that it was a good thing that I had brought the confirmation letter from MS with me though because when I was in the process of checking in they tried to give us a 2 BR with the sofa / bed combo. I explained to them that I had booked the 2Q unit and ended up having to show them the letter. We did get the room that we booked but it took a little while longer at the desk.

I booked my 2 bedroom with 2 queens at the 11 month window, I sure will be taking my confirmation letter with me. We are taking 8 people and will need every bed and inch of space we can get!

Wait list your request. I know that SSR is sooo much bigger than BCV, but we have 2-BR ressies for 3/21 - 3/28. We were told the only thing available was the 2-BR queen/pull out combo. I asked if I could be added to a wait list and MS said they would add me. I looked on-line this past Friday and noticed that my original ressie had been canceled and a new one book. On-line, it now states "Dedicated 2-BR" instead of "2-BR Lockoff." Hopefully, if others cancel, you'll get first consideration for the dedicated!

In case they don't tell you...MS told me that they do an automatic change/confirmation for all wait lists now. She also told me that my request would stay active until 30 days from my check-in date. I asked if I could have it stay active until we checked in and she said she could change it to 7 days out, but after 7 days, it would be better for me to call in daily.

Good luck with your request! For the amount of points we pay for a 2-BR, I didn't want another pull-out bed either!!!

Does the confirmation state in addition to "dedicated 2 bedroom" the fact that you have "2 Q?" There are dedicated 2 bedrooms at BCV with a Q and a sofa bed.
