BCV 1BR/2BR master bath--too many doors!

Does anyone else find the BCV master bath layout unusual? We kept running into doors! There are three separate doors in the master bath but they seem to be in the wrong places.

There are a lot of doors - no doubt - the design is meant to allow people staying in the Living Room Section access to the bathroom without going through the master bedroom. OKW building numbers 30 and below do not have the extra door so if you have to go to the bathroom you have to walk through the master bedroom

We go to BCV often and it always takes me (not DW though :) ) a day or two to get used to the doors

One time I went through the closet door thinking it was going to the bedroom - LOL

Is there a specific door that you see is in the wrong place?

Thanks

Shouldn't there be a door to close off the whirlpool so guests staying in the living room (or second bedroom in a 2BR) could use it?

I think that the VWL configuration is less of a maze (there's no separate door for the commode) but there's still no whirlpool access for additional guests. Is the whirlpool only supposed to be used by master bedroom occupants?

I vote yes. I would assume in most cases that a master bedroom is being used by the parents or the couple who are the members or maybe in a few cases the parents of the DVC members that are treating their parents to a nice room. Either way, that should be a private luxury for the couple in the master bedroom alone.

We just close and lock the door that goes between the tub room and the shower room. That's the one that gets on the way the most. I like that the toliet is separate from the rest of the bathroom space.

It did take a while to get used to, but for us, it was great. My husband and I stayed in the master BR, and our son and daughter's fiance stayed in the LR. We shared the bathroom so the girls (DD and son's girlfriend) could have the second bathroom to themselves. It worked out great once DH and I remembered to unlock the bathroom door that isn't in our BR!

But after staying in a 2 bdr at BCV last June, I think they serve their purpose very well and if I had guests in the Living area, I would want to close off the Master suite too, so there was really no other way around it but to add another 1/2 bath. (toilet and shower) or add a water closet where the closet is.

In a home, the master bath and jacuzzi, is normally part of the master suite and the guest room has a separate bath to utilize so DVC wasnt off the mark.

I must agree - I think they could have made better use of all that space in the bathroom!

But it is still a far cry better than a regular hotel room!
