I'm trying to find a place for hubby to watch the game. I'm not planning on watching it so somewhere where he can be with at least a few other LSU fans would be great. Is ESPN Club best or is there somewhere else that would be better?

Thanks so much,

Jennifer

I am not sure of any other places in WDW to watch it, but I wanted to give you some advice if you do plan on going to the ESPN Club. Back in January 1999 I had really wanted to eat there, so one night my family and I went to the Boardwalk. However when we got there we saw a huge line outside to get in which was after 7:00 PM. When we asked what they were lined up for we were told it was the BCS Championship game that night. Since we had no idea the game was happening that evening we ended up having dinner at TGI Friday's in Lake Buena Vista. So my advice is get there early if you do end up at the ESPN Club.

Yes, the problem is that everyone in the World who wants to watch the game will think exactly the same thing.

I'm not sure where else to head to, though. One of the Resort lounges maybe?

Do the resort bars/lounges have TVs in them?? It'd be fun to watch it at POR or POFQ if so!

Geaux Tigers!!! :thumbsup2

Wife and I were at Disney last year for NFL championship games and wanted (needed) to watch the Saints. We went to ESPN and the place was packed. The line was for tables in the main room (huge TV's), but you could go into the bar area and look for an open seat at the bar or table and take it. I actually ended up talking to a few people that had a booth and convinced them to let me sit with them (they were getting their check) and take the booth when they left. This got us a table and allowed us to watch the game with several of our new Saints buddies! Might be worth a shot.

If you are not going to be with your husband, have him go to the bar area as suggested. There will be plenty of action over there and everyone there will have one thing on their minds - the game. He will find plenty of new friends during the game.

It will be just him and he makes friends very easily, especially over football. If he goes to ESPN then I can spend some time hanging out in Epcot which is my favorite park. I'm assuming ESPN Club doesn't take ADR's, right?
