Could anyone please help me with this? Me, DH, DD12, DS8, and DD4 will be taking the land/sea vacation in March. I currently have us booked at the Poly for the land part because our neighbors stayed there a few years ago and loved it. We have stayed at the Caribbean Beach twice ourselves but never seen the Poly or BC. Looking at internet sites and pics of the Poly and BC, I think the BC looks incredible. I understand the monorail to MK is a big perk for the poly but the pool at BC looks like a big perk too. What would anybody out there recommend for us to stay at? Thanks for your help!!:)

I can tell you that with 5 people in a room, I would definately choose the Poly. The rooms are bigger than at the BC. The grounds are amazing and so relaxing. The Poly has the volcano pool which is smaller that stormalong bay but our kids(17, 9, 21/2)loved it. We stayed at the BC last summer with other family(3 rooms total). We were so disappointed that after 1 night we checked out and moved over to the Poly. One of the problems was that we needed 2 rooms with daybeds because there were 5 people in each room. We ended up with no daybeds and the solution was a rollaway in front of the balcony so we couldn't use our balcony with the waterview we paid extra for. We could have waited til the next day when they had different rooms for us but we would have all been completey split up. We didn't find the front desk CM's helpful OR knowledgeable. I know there are many loyal BC visitors but our family is not one of them. We love the Poly and find it convenient, relaxing and a wonderful way to spend our down time on vacation. Good luck with wherever you choose.

We love the Poly! Many perks. The TTC & monorail is at the top of the list. The pool is great. Nice game room. Loved it so much, it'll be hard to stay some place else.

Here is a vote for the BC. Our family absolutely loves the BC. We have stayed at or visted many of the WDW resorts, most recently at AKL and we keep going back to the BC. Actually we just purchased into the DVC at the Beach Club Villas so we will be going back to the BC most of the time from now on. The kids just absolutely love Stormalong Bay. The decor, themeing and location of the BC is just the best. You can actually walk to 2 of the theme parks. Its a 5 minute walk to Epcot or a 20 minute walk to MGM (or you can take a boat). I have never seen the big attraction of a monorail resort, but thats just my opinion.

The book I haves say the rooms at the Beach Club are 381 square feet and the rooms at the Poly are 391 Square Feet.
