BC Villa fold-out mattress - how awful?

Last time we were there was pre-renovation and I remembered the fold out sofa/bed being kind of horrible. Anyone been on new ones? My poor 23-yo daughter will have to deal with it yet again....

I don't think its that bad but I did not sleep on it. We just spent 8 nights at BCV and my 21 y/o daughter slept on it. She did not complain about it and she is used to having a luxurious mattress at home so I don't think it is that bad....but then again she is also used to sleeping on a college dorm bed...LOL. Seriously though, I think it is fine. The new bed mattress in the master and second bedroom are super comfy! Much better than before.

My adult DS slept on it for a week last October and said it was fairly comfortable. Not as nice as his bed at home, but better than most sleep sofas.

My daughter will be very happy to hear this. She's in that zone of not being a kid but yet not having full "adult" privileges yet.

I'm not a huge fan of the new decor, but can't argue with that huge improvement. The sofabed seems better too (stacking those pillows was a little annoying, but not a huge deal)

I LOVE the new decor. It looks great. I think they could do better with housekeeping though.

The decor has been debated ad nauseum on here so I won't counter that with my "it's lovely for a hampton inn but has very little 'Disney' in it" rant but the housekeeping issue is because DVD contracts with Disney Resorts for that and there's all kinds of quirks and issues with that arrangement. It is what it is. Fortunately we haven't had any major issues with it.

I do like the hallway carpet, though. I think it's cool

We are here now and my 2 13 year old daughters are sleeping on it. No complaints from them. Not as comfortable as their home beds but not bad for a pull out.
