BC Sandcastle Club babysitting

Has anyone used the BC babysitting and if so what is it like? We've used the Cub Den at WL before.

My DS6 really enjoyed the Sandcastle club. We hadn't really planned on having him go there but early on in our trip we stopped by to take a look inside and DS asked if he could go one night.

They have video games (PS2, X box and full-sized arcade games) a dress-up room where kids can dress up in costumes, coloring stations, art classes, board games, pretend games, etc.

I think the cost was $11 an hour and they serve dinner. I think he stayed about 2.5 hours and wanted to stay longer when we came back to get him.

I wish they would have taken DS1 as well!

We have used it several times and both kids (ages 4 & 7) loved it. My son loved the video games and my daughter loved playing with the other kids. I can't think of anything to add to Hillbeans' post except they do give you a beeper in case they need to get in touch with you. Very nice place.

My kids loved SC! They are too old now, but we used them as recently as last year. Definitely lots to do there-video games, arts and crafts and plenty of toys. The kids have done spin art there and DD made a necklace and bracelet there. Lots of fun and very convenient for when me and DH wanted to hit Epcot for adult time.

this summer I was hoping to take my DD's to the Babysitting clubs, but my youngest will be just shy of 4. I was wondering how much will it matter? Do they take your word for their age when you sign them up,giving me room to fudge a little, or will we get turned away at the door?

The first time we went my daughter was turning four the next day. We said she was four and they didn't question us.

Technically, I think it has to do with the licensing they have, but for us they didn't ask for proof that she was four. I did see them turn away someone who said their child was three at the babysitting club at Vero Beach and they said it was because of the licensing.
