Does anyone have any preferential room numbers at the bc? I am going in January, and I did not know if anyone had found a great room for location & such. I am probably going to stay standard view.

We booked a standard view at BC and got a lousy room. We were in 3677 and had a view of the roof! Just be careful. If view is important to you then maybe you shouldn't roll the dice and take what they give you. It could turn out to be really awful.

I don't have a special number that I like there, but corner rooms are nice beacuse they seem a little bigger than the others. Maybe its just me but we had connecting rooms and it was more open. The funny thing is we usually get a corner room and we dont even request it!

Here's what I had written down after reading The Unofficial Guide to WDW (I believe the 2005 edition so it's pretty up to date). Request a room near the quiet pool & elevator/lobby. An upper floor facing Epcot or lake, full "real" balcony. Specifically these room numbers were great: they say go even numbered 3662-3726, 4662-4726, or 5662-5726. I think the odd ones face something unattractive like a roof... Hope that helps. Granted these may not be "standard" views (I don't remember!) but ask for the complimentary upgrade when you check in.

Thanks for the info, that should be really helpful. Callie

We were in 3501 which was a one bedroom suite. It was very nice but as far away from the lobby as you could get. It took forever to walk to the lobby inside the hotel. We found it easier to go down the stairwell, walk outside and back in through the back entrance. We had a huge balcony but it was on the end facing the woods and not the water. Our water view was out a large window.

#3691 is a nice room. It's on a corner over the Cape May Cafe, and it's a little longer than your average room, so there is a separate sitting area in the room. It also has an extra long balcony.

I think it is considered a water view (we had booked standard and received this upgrade). It was probably the nicest non-suite we've been at in Disney World.
