Which resort would you choose and why? Beach Club, Yacht Club or Contmeporary?

We will have a party of 3 adults and 2 teens in Mid December.

They are all great hotels. If you love Epcot than I would stay in the BC its such an easy walk over or if your party perfers MK than CR is the way to go, Its easy access for the teens if you let them go off by themselves they have the walkway or the monorail.

They are all great hotels. We have stayed at BC and YC and will be staying at CBR over Thanksgiving. My vote would be for BC. If you have teens and the weather is good, the pool their and atmosphere is great. YC is not (imo) as "family" oriented and a little less quiet. BC is closer to Stormalong Bay and you have great views of Epcot, plus it is at max. a 5 minute walk to Epcot. You also have Boardwalk right across from you which the teens may enjoy more. Cannot say about the Contemporary, but it would seem like there would not be as much there to offer teens.

Hope you and your family have a great trip--enjoy!

::yes:: Couldn't agree more.

We absolutely love the BC, the pool, it's proximity to EPCOT, the Boardwalk.

REALLY didn't like CR when we were there for Spring Break... it just wasn't the right atmosphere for us.

We chose BC (those were our top three). A little closer to Epcot than YC. And I wanted to "save" CR until we could stay in a remodeled room - I love what they did to those rooms!! So, BC this month and CR on our next trip!

If all 5 of you are staying in one room, I would go with CR. The rooms are considerably bigger and the bathroom is divided into two rooms. I don't know how much you will be swimming in mid-December, but the BC/YC pool is much better than CR's pool. CR has a cool slide at the pool, and it has the BEST game room! If you stay in a wing room, it will probably be much cheaper than BC/YC.

We stayed in CR's North Wing during Spring Break and it was great, especially since we were at MK so much and could walk there in 10 minutes. I also love staying in the Epcot area and tend to spend more time at Epcot/MGM when we stay at one of those resorts.

We had the same dilemma when considering our 12-23 through 12-26 reservations. I LOVE Epcot, and the pool at BC would be cool, but I also wanted a resort where we could get to just about everything we needed without going outside (except the parks, of course) in case of bad weather. :cold:

We ended up choosing CR for a few reasons. First, I have always wanted to try staying there since I was a kid, and my kids think the monorail going through is cool. Second, we're staying on the 10th floor concierge level, and I understand that those rooms have already been renovated. Third, we like the large size of the rooms. My kids are too old to sleep together, and we wanted to be guaranteed a daybed. Fourth, I think they will love the arcade. Fifth, we probably won't spend a lot of time in the parks, but we can walk to MK and can always get to Epcot by taking the monorail to the TTC and transferring to the other monorail. Finally, I figured that we could stay at BC or YC in warmer weather. I would hate to stay there and then not be able to use SAB.

We couldnt decide for our october trip, so we are staying half at yc and half at cr. Cant wait.
