BC or BW????????????????/

I have an 11 year old daughter and we would really like to stay in the Epcot resorts and we chose BW or BC. We all think that they both would be relaxing fun and of course exciting, so can anyone tell me more about these two resorts.

When we stayed at The Boardwalk twice we found ourselves spending more time over at YC/BC. We had breakfast at Cape May Cafe every morning and dinner Yachtsman Steakhouse once. Next year we are gonna stay at The Yacht Club and just hang out a little at The Boardwalk! We might as well stay where we plan on eating! haha Not to mention that awesome pool!

Trying hard not to sound "caddy"....but have you SEEN the slide at BWI? There is no way I could sleep at night, dreams of that horrid clown face bigger than life spewing out my child would RUIN my vacation...I hope others don't suffer from the phobia I have of clowns but that is the number one deal breaker for me..all I can think of is the "It" show by Stephen King or John Wayne Gacy's portrait of himself as the clown....I would say BC/YC hands down!

We've stayed at YC, BC, and BWI. Given the age of your child, I'll bet BWI would be great for your family. It's a fun area with entertainment on the boardwalk for all ages (magicians, music, surrey bike rental, Espn, carnival-type games, shopping, bakery, etc.). On the flip side of that, BC is perfect for my family right now because our kids are age 4 and love the sandy-bottom pool, character breakfast, and Beaches & Cream. However, BC and BWI are within a 5-minute walk of eachother, so wherever you choose to stay, you can easily walk and visit the other (you just can't use BC's pool if you stay at BWI....).

absolutely BW.
we find BC just waaaaaaay too noisy anywhere near SAB, the lobby, the hallways, even the "quiet pool".

also, if your DD enjoys actual swimming, the BW pools are more conducive than SAB (as it is difficult to impossible to swim amongst the SAB throngs of ppl).

Honestly, we have stayed at both. I may lean a little toward the BC, but barely. So, my recommendation is to flip a coin and go with it; next year, visit the other one. They are both great!

We love the Boardwalk despite the creepy clown slide at the pool. There is so much to do...we spent more time at the BW when we stayed at the YC so now we always go BW. Also...I was floored by the pool crowds at SAB and I was not a fan of the sand bottom pool. My kids who were 12 and 10 when we stayed there didn't like the pool crowds either and wanted to go to the quiet pool. We did love Beaches & Cream and Cape May, but still prefer the BW overall. You can't go wrong either way!

I would say the Boardwalk because they seem to have more atmosphere and a better night life with more things to do then the Beach Club.

I have stayed at both and prefer the BW. The atmosphere is better, it just seems quieter. I love the bakery, the pool bar and the bar off the lobby is my favorite in all of DW. It is also easier to walk to the Studios. The best part is the Boardwalk at night with everything going on. That being said it is pretty much a coin flip.

hi, we are staying at BW though I would rather have booked BC however they was no availability for a standard room. I think BC looks better for my DD with the beach, pool, onsite character meals, we have more meals booked at BC/YC than BW. still really excited about BW though. They are right near each other anyway.
