Definitely spend an afternoon at Stormalong Bay (the BC pool). Eat lunch from Beaches and Cream (or maybe just ice cream!!)
Rent a bike from the Boardwalk.
If you like seafood, try the Cape May Clambake in the evening for dinner.

One of the best things about the Beach Club is the proximity to the Studios and Epcot! Being a five or ten minute walk from the World Showcase is unbeatable.

And I have to agree with the earlier post-er who suggested spending a day at Stormalong Bay -- it's probably the best pool in The World, a mini-theme park all its own.

The restaurants nearby are very good: try steak at the Yachstman Steakhouse, or a burger at Beaches and Cream, or wander over to the BoardWalk for seafood at the Flying Fish. There are some neat shops at the BW, too, and the place is really hopping at night.

Go and enjoy! :Pinkbounc

Oh...I am torn between BC and AKL!!! I love animals and I love water!!! I like having a hotel room that is better than 'nice'. For me, at BC, Stormalong bay is the main attraction - alongside a 10 minute walk home from Illumnations at EPCOT!!! I like the idea of sipping cocktails whilst gliding along the 'lazy river', and stuffing myself with icecream and milkshakes at Beaches n Cream!
At AKL I would like to sit on my balcony and view the animals on a hot and breezy night!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Maybe I will do BC in September and AKL in April...... hmmm......

If you have children, you MUST go to Beaches and Cream and order a Kitchen Sink. Even if you can't eat it all, the look on the kid's faces when they bring it to your table is Priceless!

And, of course, Stormalong Bay is not-to-be-missed. :)

How about a ride on Breathless? It is a turn of the century reproduction Chris Craft speed boat. It holds up to seven and you can "cruise" or take the "e-ticket" ride (our choice). It is great fun! It has become a tradition that we take a ride on each visit. Be prepared to laugh, scream & get wet! There are also Illuminations Cruises - they are difficult to book and reservations can be made 90 days in advance. Neither of these options are inexpensive - BUT they are fun!
