So we finally decided on BC for our trip this November but they only have standard view Club Level rooms available for our dates. I really didn't want to spend the extra money - just staying deluxe is a stretch for us - but we really want to stay at BC for SB and proximity to Epcot. Can anyone tell me a little about the club level. I've read mixed reviews. Can anyone recommend a particular room. What are the views like? We prefer to be close to the lobby/elevator. Is it really worth the extra money or should we consider another resort. Thanks!

We have done BC CL twice in a standard room. Both rooms had only the little standing balconies with a lovely view of the roof and parking lot. Once we were not too far from the elevator; the other time we were quite a ways down a hallway.

BC CL is my least favorite club of all that I've tried at WDW.

Have you looked at what's available at the YC since that resort shares SAB and the walk to Epcot is just 2 minutes more? At least there you will get a full balcony (50% of BC rooms only have the little standing balconies). I also like the YC CL better.

I love the BC (In my personal opinion, the best CL of the 3 Epcot area resorts) I rank the Epcot area CL's

1) BC
2) YC
3) BWI

BC and YC CL lounges are very similar is size and layout. BWI is a bit bigger but it was quite a long walk from the elevators where as the BC and YC CL lounges were right near the elevators.

Last year we had room 5705 (see pics below) with a full balocony facing SAB

We were in a standard view CL room last year at BC. Although we were overlooking the front of the building, we could lie in bed and watch the fireworks! Pretty nice for a standard view. :thumbsup2

We absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend it. The CMs were fantastic and knew us by name. We're spoiled and now hubby only wants to stay there. Returning from the parks to just the smell of the resort was just lovely. Hope this helps. :)

Loved BC CL, we had a GV with a full balcony. I don't know if some of the standard view rooms have a full balcony, but you can find that out going on the BC/YC Thread. I thought the CMs were wonderful. Loved the lounge, breakfast, and appies, desserts, wine, cordials, etc!

Is is safe to assume that this is a water view room?

Thanks,

Add us to the list of loving the BC CL. The lounge is small, yes, but we have always been able to find seating. There are 2 particular CM's that remember us by name and go the extra mile to make us happy. If it's important to your family to have a full balcony, be sure to put that as your request on your reservation.

As far as if it's worth it, the answer will be different for each family. As far as our family, we enjoy the breakfast each morning in the lounge (particularly the oatmeal and hard-boiled eggs). The lounge is also very convenient to fill up with water/drinks for our park day and also to have access to cold drinks while we're at the pool. We plan our main meal during the lunch time frame so we utilize the hot appetizers at night as our light dinner. Desserts and coffee at night are a fun way to end the day. Conclusion is that our family cannot stay in disney now without staying CL.

We stayed BC CL last September and loved it. The staff was great and although the lounge was smaller than other CL's we have stay at, we never felt it was really crowded or that we couldn't sit and enjoy the offerings.

We had two standard rooms and at least one possibly both had a full balcony. Although we did have a view of the parking lot, we were right next to the club lounge and the elevators.

We really enjoyed ourselves and would Definately stay there again.
