BBQ Sauce at WCC

I didn't find this in a search, so maybe it's news?

We found out last Friday night that they changed the BBQ sauce at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. It's no longer the delicious sauce they had for years - it's now a chipotle-based sauce that was selected because it is gluten-free. It has that very distinct flavor of smoked pepper, which is not my favorite.

They don't even still carry the old sauce due to fears of cross-contamination.

Not making any statements here - other than I sure do miss the old sauce!

Maybe that is why we thought the food was better than the last time we ate there a few years ago. We enjoyed the BBQ this time.

We ate each there a few days ago and I was thinking the BBQ sauce was fantastic! Granted, I haven't tried the old sauce to compare it. To each his own, I guess!
