Okay, I'm desperate. We're having a corn roast tonight and I'm starting realize that people might think we're having dinner. It was really intended to be just a corn roast w/ snacks. So, I'm trying to come up w/ something not too expensive that I can make in a mass quantity but that is good. I have 2 boxes of hamburgers (48) and wanted to use those. My husband said no grilling because he'll be too busy roasting the corn.

So, this is really last minute any easy recipes??

What if you or your husband grill the hamburgers earlier in the day? You can keep them a bit on the rare side and just stack them in an aluminum tray, covered in a low oven. When it's time to serve, just pull them out and pop them on a bun! :thumbsup2

Never tried these myself & know you just need directions, but...

Crockpot Burgers
* 2 lbs. lean ground beef
* 1 egg, lightly beaten
* 1 c. finely chopped onion
* 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
* 2 tbsp. ketchup
* 2 tbsp. evaporated milk
* 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
* Salt and pepper
* flour
* 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup

PREPARATION:
Mix ground beef, egg, onion, cheese, ketchup, milk, cracker crumbs and salt and pepper; shape into patties. Roll in flour and brown in a small amount of oil or margarine. Arrange patties in slow cooker in layers with the undiluted mushroom soup. Cook on high 3 to 4 hours. Serves 8.
