I've been working hard to pay down bills. May/june is going to be expensive months.
invited to
-2 birthday parties (May)
-2 graduation parties (may)
-1 babyshower (may
-2 mother's day gifts plus chipped in for food
-dd end of the year semi formal dance, $ for ticket, shoes and dress
June
-4 bday parties
-Dh bday bbq party decided to have one .In many years this will be 2nd party for him
-fathers day
- plus dd has end of the year fieldtrips we have to pay for
Dh never wants a party but this year decided to go for it. Trying to keep it simple with bbq hamburgers, hot dogs, links, nachos, fruit, dips , chips and salads. Right now the count of invites is 30 people but it might go up to 58 if he invites the entire family.
I might pick and choose which parties to go to and try and keep on track on paying off my debt by the end of june.
ok anyone else dealing with a lot of bday and graduation invites???

not buying your dd shoes for her dance or buying a mother's day gift.
It would cut down on costs if you only had to supply meat and buns.

OMG, I'd be excited for all of these things for my own family but really wouldn't expect all of our family members to be as excited as we are.
Enough is enough, both financially & considering people's weekend free time.
P.S So glad you are ok
