I am considering letting DD get a makeover at the BBB...3 questions I have

1. How long do the princess hairstyles stay in, can they sleep w/ it in so it lasts a couple days?

2. DD has hair length a bit longer than a traditional bob, can they do anything with that since I doubt it will be able to be pulled up?

2. For anyone who did the hannah montana package, what can you tell me about it. Are the items really flimsy (i.e. wig, purse etc) ? Did they get a makeup application or anything or do they just put the wig on them and that's it?

DH is encouraging me to let her do it and have something special and I am OK with it too...but not sure which to do princess or hannah.

1. yes. lasts quite a while. my DD wore it for 3 days and still looked great. we finally took it down.

2.Yes. they do it all the time.

3. don't know. I haven't tried HM package but check the internet for pics. After seeing some my DD decided it wasn't for her.

The basic and the next pakage up is still cheaper than HM. We did the basic last year and loved it. We are trying the next package up so she can get her nails done this year.

You're propably not going to get more than the day of the visit out of the hair. My DD did this last Sept. and her hair was on the shorter side so it took a lot of bobby-bins to ge the 'do to stay. We had to take the pins out to sleep and then when we woke up her hair was a big mess. They use so much hairspray and glitter that I even had to request the sheets get changed. It was fun and cute, but I'm not sure it was worth the price. I have heard that the barber shop will do and up do for as little as $7.50, so that may be a better option. Just a thought, I'm sure she will enjoy it either way.

My DD who turned 4 during our March trip has hair that is a little longer than a bob as well. She chose the classic princess style for her hair and I was so surprised that they were able to do it. Then, to my amazement, it lasted through the next day until we went swimming. They use ALOT of gel to hold it in place!

It was so fun for the girls and they are already asking to do it on our next trip! Have fun on your trip and a great time at BBB if you choose to do it!

I read somewhere that they weren't doing it anymore without a haircut. Does anyone know if it is true?

Also, my nieces are doing this with us in September. We have all planned to do the whole shebang, but now I am wondering if I would be a horrible mom if I brought her dress from home with accessories. I know the nieces are getting their stuff there. I don't want my daughter to feel left out if she just does the makeover and I don't let her pick out a dress there!
