BBB question

My neice has a MK BBB appointment on her 8th birthday. She will be bringing her own dress to WDW (it is not a disney/princess dress). Better to wear it or change after the "makeover?" Thanks- I am new to BBB!

She will have a great time.

She can either arrive wearing it - or, if it's more "magical for her", when she arrives at BBB, they have changing rooms where she can get changed before her appointment. I suppose she could also change after... but they do a nice "reveal" when they take the protective drape off, spin the chair around, and the girl gets to see herself in the mirror for the first time with her new hairstyle. It's fun if they are wearing their costume, and makes for good pictures.

They have photopass photogs there taking pictures during, but you are welcome to take pictures of the transformation too.

But she can do whatever she is most comfortable with.

If her apt is before the park opens, then have her wear it in. Even though she won't be made up yet, you might not make it out front again after the apt for those empty Main Steet shots.

I would definitely have her dressed in it when the makeover starts whether she wears it into the park or puts it on there. I agree with the PP that the reveal is more dramatic if she is already wearing her gown.
