BBB in MK???

In my recent emailed Newletter from All Ears, it said:

"... from ALL EARS® Editor in Chief Deb Wills, just back from a weekend trip around the World: I heard a few items of interest from a variety of sources this weekend, which I thought I'd pass along:

-- The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will open a location in the Magic Kingdom in early July."​

Does anyone know ANYTHING about this? If so, do you know where it will be located and if I can change my reservations from Downtown Disney to the MK?

Maybe I'll call them and see if they will tell me anything....

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is coming to the Magic Kingdom on September 10th inside Cinderella Castle. It will occupy the space currently known as the King's Gallery which will close on July 5th. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is expected to open September 10th.

I believe they will start taking reservations for the MK Castle BBB location on 4/29. Ressies are available starting 9/10 and beyond. Call 407-WDW-STYLE for reservations.

I just found this on another DW "board" site:

On September 10, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is expanding and will open a second location inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. The new location will replace the current King's Gallery store. The castle Boutique is scheduled to start accepting appointments April 29, 2007 for September 10, 2007 dates and beyond. A reservation is highly recommended and can be made by calling 407-WDW-STYLE up to 180 days prior to arrival.


Oh well, I guess my daughter will have to keep her August 4th appt. at Downtown Disney.

We don't know this info yet at this point the only thing I can guess is they will tell us we book tomorrow or when we arrive.

Yeah!!! This makes me very happy. We are going in November (first family trip to Disney) and I was trying to figure out how I was going to get from BBB in Downtown Disney, over to a breakfast reservation at CRT in time(haven't made the reservations yet). If this is true (which it seems like it is), then my problem is solved!!

I called this morning at 0700-Florida time and changed my reservation from DTD to MK. I was told photopass will be there during the make over and that there would be a place after for photos but she wasn't able to tell me where or any details. She did say that they were booking up fast and that the reason for opening the second location was because they were booked up 2+ months in advance.

the bad thing is the MK location is going to start booking like that and DtD will get no bookings unless they are forced and even then most people are going to try and do a walk in at MK.

I was able to change my ressie for my DD from DTD to MK for 10/16 so that we could walk from there to LTT for dinner and then MNSSHP. Seems much more convenient now.

I changed mine from the DTD one to the MK one also. She told me that they will have a photopass place for pic after she just doesn't have all the info yet.

If I can get a reservation for BBBo at MK but don't have park tickets for that day (other than for the party @ night), anyone know how early we could book the appointment (assuming there's availability)? I'm just wondering if we'd have to wait til 4-4:30 when they let people in for the party. If that's the case, I'm wondering if it would be better to get an appt. at the downtown BBBo earlier in the day & enjoy MK right when we're let in. Any thoughts??

You will not be able to get in any earlier than 4:00p with only the party ticket.

Does anyone know how long the whole "experiance" will take??? Just wonding trying to plan around lunch at Cindy's!!

they will ask you which costume you want when you arrive and bring it into the dressing room when it is available if someone is occupying the dressing room when you are seated they will get started w/ your hair and make up. as long as they are running on schedule it shouldn't take you more than 45-60 mins.

Oh man, what to do, what to do!

Now I have another decision to make for our trip next year! DTD or MK? I guess it depends on what we will be doing after the BBB. The original plan was to take a leisurely trip to DTD (from Saratoga Springs) and have DD's appt and then a dinner somewhere - like Akershus, or 1900 Park Fare. If that is the case then I think that DTD is still the way to go.

I think DTD will still have a draw for people with plans like I was thinking about. Maybe it is just our family, but we tend to leave MK sticky and sweaty, not exactly BBB - like!

What I was told by the CM when I made my ressie and asked about this was yes there will be a photo studio available in MK BBB for the photo sessions.

I think I've read somewhere that it takes between 35 - 45 minutes, but I've never been there, so I'm not positive.

We have five girls in our group (ages 4,4,7,9,and 12) and I was wondering if anyone knew about (or had done it) getting reservations for BBB at the same time for all the girls or at least 3 at once, then the other 2. Is that hard to do? (We will be going to the MK location in Nov - getting ready to call in for reservations soon!) Thanks.
