We are going to disney in december and i am wondering about the Knight package at the BBB ?

does anyone have any reviews? was it worth it ?

there will be 7 kids all together 3 girls will be getting the princess make overs and 2 boys who i dont want left out (the other 2 will be to young)

Or should i just plan something special to do with the boys and let the BBB be all about the girls ?

When we did it they either spiked the hair up or slicked it back, then put shiny "confetti" in it. My guy's hair was a bit long so the spikes looked deadly, and he hated it. Sigh.

But the (foam) sword and shield they gave were worth it (and, weirdly, the package was cheaper than buying the Prince Philip sword and shield separately). If they are still giving those things with the package it could be worth it.

I know my boys (who are now 19 and 23) would much rather have a custom built light saber or anything Star Wars related than have gel put in their hair at that age. The Star Wars mouse ears are also very cool but pricey. Do they still sell those? Are the boys into Star Wars?

that would be a fun idea. i could take the girls to the BBB and my hubby (big star wars fan) could take the boys to build light sabers !!

That sounds awesome! Building the light sabers does take longer than you'd think, especially with Star Tours dumping a fresh load of customers into that shop every few minutes, we kinda had to grab pieces in between the rushes. The same shop had a "build a droid" table (legp size) that was pretty fun, they even had Mickey ear hats for your droid!

We are taking our grandson to do this. I figure for the price you can't go wrong with it. He loves to have his hair spiked up so he will love that part.

Although the light sabers sound fun, I would say there is also a Ridemakerz in DTD where kids can build a car.

Ridemakerz is REALLY expensive. Starts at about $40 for the most bare minimum car up to $100. I decided to take my son and his 3 friends plus his brother to BAB for his 6th birthday last month instead where each kid spent an average of $30 including accessories.

Also heavy. We had to do some reorganizing and repacking at the airport because one of our suitcases was overweight!

Well the BBB packages can be very expensive too. As are the build your own light sabers considering that you can buy one already made for less money.

BBB is $20 for boys as stated by a PP. Lightsaber is $25, $40 for double. Build A Bear is typically $35. Ridemakerz start at $35 but that includes nothing. All of the YELP reviews state that they walked out spending $70 plus but many are over $100. Multiplied by 2 for OP. But money may not be an issue for OP so it's definitely a possibility.

Bought seperately, the Prince Phillip sword and shield are $10 and $15 respectively.

definitely do not want to be spending out of the butt for these things !! we travel on a budget :)

Building light-sabers is fun and really priced accordingly. Both my son and daughter did this last trip and they still love the ones "they built" even though my son has the Kylo Ren model saber from Disney also. For the 25$ they are worth the money and they last. Also they light up/have sound FX/flicker lights when 'fighting', and they collapse which is nice for traveling.

I haven't been to DL yet, but we visited the BBB aboard the Disney Wonder. We purchased the Knight Package for our 4 year old. Here he is after that visit! *The shirt wasn't included.
