So we had originally planned to take dresses for our BBB appointment. Unfortunately they were our girls Halloween costumes as well and they did not fair so well. Was wondering how many have done BBB without dresses and how did your experience fair? I talked it over with daughters (7,5,3) and they say they are fine with not taking them. Our appt is in the middle of the day at Disney Springs so we will have to leave the park, I'm thinking as far as comfort and luggage space it is best not to take them...but I am concerned about their overall experience.

My DD was done BBB three times...
The 1st time she wore her dress and changed out of after CRT and happily wore a cute tink shirt & skort the rest of the day.
The 2nd & 3rd times we immediately went for cute, girly & comfy with a top and leggings. One time it was a Minnie top to make it more Disneyish & the other was a soft lace.

The girly tops were so much better for her because she could enjoy the parks & still be dressed up! Honestly, I think she got as much attention with the tops than others in the dresses.
I hope your girls have a magical time princess:

Our first trip to Disney this past September my girls were 9 and 6. My DD6 wore a sleeveless teal Ariel dress and my DD9 wore a pastel muticolor sleeveless dress...both cotton and comfortable. The experience of the makeover was more important to them than the dress. In the end, they were both happy and comfortable and received many compliments in the park.

Our daughter did BBB four times. She would wear the dress for an hour or so and then switch to something more comfortable. These were all during the summer and the dress got hot and itchy. We bought a new dress every trip, but we have one instead of three.

I do remember her having some items that she could wear that came from their BBB appointment such as a tiara that she would wear longer. It has been a few years so I'm not sure what is included today. There are threads specifically for BBB on the Theme Park Strategy forum.
