BBB - Disney Springs vs Magic Kingdom - HELP!

I have a reservation at BBB for my 4 year old DD on our MK day. The appointment isn't until 4:15 and we have a 6:40pm ADR at 1900 PF. We also have a PPO BOG reservation this day so going to DS isn't an option even though that location has multiple openings all day. I am worried that 4:15 is late in the day to spend that much money on an experience that she wont get to enjoy for very long. Am I crazy to think this? I thought it might actually be a good thing so she's not hot and miserable all day. I'm going back and forth on pros and cons. I had really hoped for an early afternoon or late morning appointment. Unfortunately with BBB the only way I can check for cancellations is by calling.

DS has multiple openings throughout our entire stay. One of the representatives was really pushing that I go to the DS location on one of the days we won't be in the parks. I really thought it would be special to do it in the castle though, and my DD keeps saying she's getting her hair done in Cinderella's Castle.

I don't know what to do! Is 4:15 too late? She probably wont get a chance to walk around MK before our dining reservation anyway, so is it smarter to go to DS? Has anyone here had any luck securing a cancellation closer to our dates? Any help is very appreciated!

We choose DS for DD on a non-park day & did 1900 for Dinner that night. She loved it and I sprayed the heck out of and it lasted the next day too, not quite as pretty but still ok.

I'm so stressed about this! Is there any chance of going right at RD (or PRIOR to park opening? We have a PPO BOG reservation at 8:05AM so I could head there right after breakfast) and getting in earlier than my allocated 4:15 time slot? I have heard as the day goes on they get busier and busier and maybe I would get lucky and there will be a no show?

If you are not able to switch (or even if you are but want to save a little money) bring her own princess dress/pretty sundress and only have her hair and make up done. It will save you a little bit of time and won't cost as much as the full package. It really is just as special, I think my DD liked wearing a sundress better than the princess stuff in the August heat. I haven't tried getting in without an appointment, but I think they are pretty strict. Is going to DS after your breakfast an option? Maybe breakfast, a couple of rides, back to resort for a swim, DS for BBB and then head back to MK?
