Hi! Our family is visiting the World for the first time in June 2009 and staying at Wilderness Lodge.
I am trying to decide what package and when to schedule my daughter's visit to BBB boutique?
What package do you recommend?
Also, when does this best fit into a schedule? Morning or afternoon?
Day at downtown disney, or day at magic kingdom? I hate to give up early morning time at magic kingdom, and I wonder if she will be hot anyway?
Thought it might work best on a day we werent' going to parks and were just going to experience DTD, etc?
Thanks for the advice.

My DD had an 8 a.m. BBB appointment, followed by a 9 a.m. CRT ressie. That worked out perfectly for us! BBB was right on time, since she was the first of the day. It took about 25 minutes, then we were able to walk around a bit and take pics in front of the castle before rope drop, so the area was still deserted. She looked like a princess for breakfast, then still got to enjoy her makeover all day long.

We were there in Feb., so my DD was not too hot. I guess that may be an issue for you in June. She wore her Cinderella dress all day, and the hair still looked pretty good the next day when we went home.

You could do BBB at MK but schedule it for before the park opens and then you won't be missing out on any time in the park.
As for packages you can always bring your own dress if your dd wants to dress up.
We did the full package and i think it was about $200 but the bascic one starts about $50 I think

Book well in advance I just tryed tto get a afternoon apointment for three weeks from now at the castle and the best i could get was 9:40 at DTD or after supper we wanted DD princess: all done up to have supper with cinderilla at 1900 Parkfare on our last night . I will call again after we arrive just to check and see if someone cancled .

I would say to get it done at MK. We tried but couldn't get in except for DTD, which we did. We had 9:40 ressies and lunch at CRT. My oldest complained how her dress itched. We brought it from home b/c we didn't want to spend that much money on two costumes. My other daughter had a t-shirt on under hers b/c she complained before we left the hotel. After CRT we did let them change clothes, but there hair stayed great until the went swimming the next afternoon. We did the middle package wich came with two bottles of nail polish for $5 extra. I say do it early in the day and then people can ooh and ahh over her. My girls talk about it frequently. Have fun.

This is the same times we have for a couple of weeks from now..so glad to hear it works well!!

If you plan on getting a dress/costume in disney I say do the full package if not the only difference between the low and middle package is nails which can be fake press ons or nail polish. for more great info click the link in my sig. the bbb is great followed by a trip to a princess or any character meal.

We have done it twice, both times on an "off day" at dtd. We then do CRT for breakfast the next day and the hair still looks great. In fact, my girls had it done Thanksgiving morning (first appointment of the day, they got to open the WoD store). That night we went to Chef Mickey's, the next morning we went to CRT and the day after that (Saturday) we went to Akerhaus and for all the photo packages their hair looked great! I bet we could have gone longer, but they wanted to hit the pools!!!
