Do a ton of people try to get in at the Bib Bob Boutique before going to MNSSHP? I'm still thinking along the lines of Christmas and bday presents for my kids and I was thinking they shouldn't need money from everyone to get suveniers so maybe someone could get them gift cards (or disney dollars if they don't offer gift cards) to the BBB and they could get all fancied up before going to MNSSHP. If this is the same idea everyone has I won't worry about it but I was just thinking it'd be fun.

My oldest daughter wants to be Sharpay for Halloween this year and my youngest wants to be Tink or Cinderella so I am hoping they will fit them in a year so they can wear them at the party. How nice that they've picked Disney characters huh!

I was going to skip the BBB when I found out about MNSSHP because I can't justify paying for both but if it can be done this way it'd be great. I really want them to experience it if they can.

So, do they have gift cards? Is it harder than heck to get in on MNSSHP days? What's a good amount of money for kids to have to spend on suveniers over about a 5-7 day period? I know it differs but a reasonable average amount would be helpful.

I've read a lot that you should kinda take it easy the day you go to MNSSHP so that would be a great way to relax but still get in on the Disney stuff. Thanks so much!

Doing MNSSHP and BBB in the same day...I know we are crazy but with 4 girls in our party ages 12-3 this should be a fun day! We saved for over a year to do all this stuff... and I even got a disney visa with a $100 gift card for 1st use, to use at BBB. We also save money by having a money jar in our kitchen for loose change, all the money in it goes to extras at the park.."fun money" as the kids call it! My children did the BBB last trip and loved it..money well spent!
I make the kids save their own spending money at the park..birthday money, work money (oldest is a soccer referee). I think the kids get enough out of being in the park, that they don't need a lot of stuff..I think they only spent $50 each last trip. I only spend money on 1 tshirt each...memories are enough! Each kids is responsible for their own money, when it is gone, it is gone. Tough love in our home! But I have never heard a complaint from each of them, they are happy just to be on vacation! Hope this helps...have a great trip!

I think it's a great idea. I am sure many others think this as well.

The only way you'll know if there are appointments available is to call and ask. Remember there are BBBs in both MK and DTD.

Good luck getting an apt.- I hope it works for you!

We just got back & DD4 did BBB (MK) on the 4th at 4pm-then we went to MNSSHP. It was very busy. I had the BBB appt before the MNSSHP dates came out, so it was by luck. She loved it!!! It was worth doing both on the same day. I saved $$ for it. Some moms were saying they did early appts to get the full day out of it. I would suggest the later in the day the better for the appt the dresses are too hot to wear all day...if she won't take off the dress...have you ever tried getting your daughter to take off her gown when she is in "princess mode"?

It was definately a hightlight of our vacation & a great memorable day!

I did the BBB before MNSSHP last year. I called at the 90 day mark and the only ressie I could get was at 9am. The hair held up very well though as well as the makeup. They use a ton of hairspray. We never get the package with the dress - we just bring it from home. I can't justify spending that much when I can find the dress for $20 at home. I felt the BBB was worth it though, you got to keep the nail polish and makeup that they used as well as the crown. If you price them our separately at the store you will find they cost almost as much as getting the hair/makeup/nail package ($50).

Thanks! Now I just need to wait until the MNSSHP dates come out for 2010. Do you have to put a deposit down or pay in full or anything when you make the reservation at BBB? And you can only book these 90 days in advace? Thanks!
