BBB ages?

I know technically there is no real age for BBB, but we have a will be 13 year old that is really on the fence about the makeovers. I think she really wants to do it, but I think she is afraid that others will think she is a "baby" for doing it. There is enough second guessing every choice at that age and while on the greatest ships at sea, this should not be one. Having said that, how common do you see pre teens/teens getting make overs?

I found this on the DCL website (it specifies ages):


Sort of ambiguous. "Limited to ages 3 to 12" and "Guests ages 17 and younger"

You'll probably need to ask onboard if she decides she wants to do it.

This is what confused me. I read the guests 17 and younger part in a couple different places. I also could have sworn I have read and maybe even seen adults doing it, but maybe it was always Pirate makeovers. She may be a little sad, but also one less thing to worry about.

I have read frequent over the age posts on the BBB. Seems there would be a lot of business for something for those 13 and over. Make it more to their likes. Have to think Disney could make a go of it.

Adults (anyone age 3+) can do Pirates League. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

BBB is age restricted, ages 3-12. You cannot book it for anyone older.

The BBB has a max age of 12. Teens 13 and up can do some treatments in the main spa, including hair styling and facials. Not sure about makeup.
