BBB age question

I just wanted to see how strict they were with the age policy for BBB?
My daughter will be turning 3 less than a month after our trip to WDW, but we REALLY want her to experience the BBB and "becoming" a princess. She is just fascinated with the princesses and plays dress up just about everyday. I know she is still young, but I also know how much she would love this.

I would most definitely not lie about her age, which is why I was asking if it was possible. If they told me no, that she was still considered too young, I would completely understand. Rules are rules.

I was just curious since it would be a couple of years before we went back and she is just so into the princesses right now. I know she will sit still for her hair and makeup....she lets me do her hair just about everyday and she sat perfectly still when she was getting her hair done for my brother's wedding. I think she likes being pampered Girl after my own heart.

But, knowing there is an age limit, like I said, I would completely understand if it was not possible.
I guess I was just kind of hoping since she was so close to being 3 years old.

Thanks!!

How far is she away from being 3?

the policy does state three but several people have been able to book for their dd's if they are w/in 30 days of turning 3 so if you fall into that category go ahead and give them a call.

When I called, they told me "no", but I have also heard of others that were able to get a two yr old who is about to turn 3 in for BBB. As with most CM's at Disney, if you don't like the answer, call back and see if you can get the answer you want, LOL! I don't think my daughter cares too much either way, so I was not persistant.

Thank you!

She will be around 23 days or so from turning 3, so I just had to know if it as that much of an issue. I may go ahead and give them a call just to see what they would say. If it works out, great! If not, I am sure we will all survive. ;)

Thanks again!

What I was told when I called (for my 3 year old) was that the kids need to be 3. The lady said please don't bring your 2-year old, because we can tell which ones aren't 3 - they won't sit still!

Look, they're not checking your DD's birth certificate at the door. (Nor did they ask me how old she was when I made the appt, if I recall.) If you think that she will really enjoy it and will sit still (as if all 3 year olds would even do that!), I'd say take her. If they ask how old she is, just say, "she's about to turn 3."

Why not take her to the main street barber shop at MK? they will do an updo, put in colored gel and add pixie dust. If you bring your own little tiara they can put that in too. It looks great and the price is a bargain= 7.50
