What are the usual wait times for the Launch Bay meet and greets? I was surprised that Disney doesn't offer fast passes for those. If you avoid the afternoon, are the wait times not too bad?

They are typically 30 minutes or less, but can be longer at times.

If you avoid the afternoon

We were there on 9/20 and the wait times at 4:00p for Chewie and Kylo were less than 10 minutes. BB-8’s wait was listed at 25 minutes.

With people spending the morning at DHS before hopping elsewhere, the afternoon may be a better time to plan on the meets. As we walked through the rooms in Launch Bay, we were often the only 2 people in the room.

Interesting. I didn't know that a lot of people leave DHS in the aft, but it makes sense. Do wait times for rides drop in the afternoon, too?

Unknown, sorry, as we entered DHS at 4:00 basically to enter with a CM who needed to check-in for a shift. We watched the Stormtroopers march and then headed to Launch Bay before we hopped to Epcot for F&W.
