11/23 - Hollowood Ya'll!
This morning we headed straight back to 1900 Park fare for the Superfragalistic Breakfast. Hot Rod booked this one for me ya'll, cause she knows I have this unhealthy obsession for Mary Poppins.
On the way we took the monorail and we rode up front with the pilot! This guy was a Disney walkapedia, he knew everything and was super super nice!
We get to 1900 PF and find out Mary's guests were tigger, pooh, Alice and dat Mad Hatter. Tigger was up first, dats one cool cat! He hung around and bounced around with the girls, pawed his autograph took a pic and off with a bound he went! Alice was next, she was pretty brief, did the usual spiel and wandered off.
Next came Mary. Oh sweet sweet Mary. Wife told her of my obsession and she blushed. I serenaded her with "It's a Jolly Oliday" yeah! OLIDAY no h's!
She commented how gentlemanly I was (cause it's soooo true) and we all took pictures.
At this point, Hot Rod goes off to get her breakfast, and along comes Hatter boy. He immediately realizes someone is missing and asks for the name. With a booming yell he demands hot rod to rerturn to her table. Every head in the joint turns to our table. Darth tatortot starts to slink under the table with his trusty gameboy. I think Hot Rod was the only person who DIDN'T hear him. Well he couldn't wait around so flutter flutter butterfly.
Pooh, Pooh decides he don't like our table. He skipped us twice! Finally a CM coralled him to our table. We did the meet and greet thing and pooh tumbled away. (We HAVE pictures but we haven't had these downloaded yet)
Off to the studios!
When we get there, we were surprized to see this going on up in the air:
We thought "oh how nice maybe a birthday or engagement wish!" NO! It was some religeous fanatic skywriting stuff about Jesus, this guy was up in the air at the parks ALL trip! So we walk in(Hot Rod scooters in) and make sure we get our stitch picture done:
And we wandered in. We saw quite a few streetmosphere people this day. These stand out the most:
This was the Hollywood Glee Club, Desperately trying to get a spot on Bing Crosby's radio Christmas Show. They were halarious (even lil voice was laughing). We didn't ride many of the newers stuff today because we got there pretty late. So we stayed with the shows and older attractions (we'd have another day here). We ended the day with Fantasmic. During which the whole time my lil voice was going on about "Mais aren't ya glad I made ya buy that blanket!" Yeah Yeah hush up you! It was cold, but Hot Rod bought me a beer to warm the gut.
11/24 - EPCOT (drinking around the world day!)
We split epcot in two days this day would mostly be the World Showcase day+ Imagination (we HAD to do this). Oh! We also did "Where's The Fire" In Inoventions. This was purty fun ya'll! Ya got to try it. It was like TSM without the car. We grabbed drinks at each country (sometimes we cheated a split one) and for lunch we had ressies for TE. Man I never thought I finish my food! I'm not gonna bore ya with the countries, ya'll heard it all before, so I'll jump straight to Akursus.
This was a nightmare folks. First we checked in and we were forgotton about. 30 min later after we complained we were let in. Belle was taking the complimentary photo (it was the yellow dress
) and she was SUPER sweet to the girls. Then the plummet continued. Our server got our drinks (no bread) took our order and disappeared like FOREVER! We fended for ourselves the whole night. Lil voice was in my head cursing the whole time in cajun french, I dare not to repeat any of it here. The food was like cardboard flavored and all the princesses except Ariel were in a rush to get out. Jasmine being the worst. You blink your eye and she was gone. But not before I used the trusty cellphone camera!
FORTY minutes after we eat, server lady finally shows up with the bill. Lil voice was ranting "If ya leave that girl a tip I'm giving you a brain tumor!", I comprimised with him and we left a VERY VERY small tip, just so she know how we felt about her superb service. Because we had to wait so long we missed Illuminations. We'll have to watch it next time (later in trip).
We managed to get a drink in every country though. Consensus was the alcoholic slushys in Morocco were the best.
