Hello! I wanted to post a review on my stay last week at this off-site hotel. First - it's not in Celebration ...it's the one of HWY192 West - near the "maingate" area. I'll have to say the location is fantastic. Just a quick trip on Sherberth Road ...maybe 2 minutes and you're on the property right behind the Animal Kingdom. Thanks to another poster on the boards who clued me in on this. Great tip! The hotel is fine...nothing fancy but for the rate of $54 it was a good choice for this budget trip. The lobby is beautiful but the hallways and rooms do need some updating. Nothing horrible... just worn down and in need of sprucing up. The door to our room wouldn't open easily - we had to try it over and over and basically bang our bodies against it a few times. The room was clean - bathroom door was very ugly... kind of like a cheap trailer like door that didn't belong. The faucet dripped a lot. however, the beds were very very comfy!! Free breakfast is a big fat joke - fake eggs and dried up pastries. We did it one day and then opted to just buy our own breakfast because it was that bad. Coffee in the room was very good.
Housekeeping - they kept the room clean but they weren't very good at refilling coffee, cups, towels. You have to call down and ask for stuff. Again, $54 a night. I dealt with it.
If you're planning a budget trip and want convenience, a clean room and a good bed - this is a good choice. Oh, the shuttle - forget it. Just goes to epcot and magic kingdom and only 2 pick ups in the morning and 2 in the evening. No flexibility at all.
If you have questions let me know.
