Bay Lake Towers, Here we come!

Three years is way too long to be away from the happiest place on earth!

Who~ Me, Mom, Dad. I haven't travelled with my parents in a while, but have gone to WDW for my past two trips with one of my best friends. It will definitely be interesting to see how we do together!

When~ February 2011 (not over vacation week). Dad will be down there a few days before Mom and I on a business trip. He's staying at the GF and will meet up with us once we get down there. I am a teacher, so I will only be down for a long weekend and my parents will be staying for a few more days.

Where~ Bay Lake Towers, Lake View! We are staying in a studio, so it will be tight with three adults but totally worth it. I mean, how much time are we actually going to be spending in our room?

Plan~ We are going on a weekend that is known to be REALLY light, so I'm not too worried about the crowds. I'll only have 2 1/2 days in the park, but I think it will work out fine. Dad will still be in his conference for Day 1 and he and Mom will be staying a few more days after I have to leave.

Here is our first draft of the itinerary with the only the meals set in stone:
Day 1: AK, DHS, Dinner- The Wave
Day 2: MK, Epcot, Dinner- Chefs De France
Day 3: MK
Now I need to go check out the EMH for our stay in case that changes our itinerary!

YEY for February trips! I've gone on this weekend before and the parks were empty! Definitely looking forward to it!

So, I'm sick with walking pneumonia and bronchitis, so WDW planning is the only thing keeping me entertained right now...


February Extra Magic Hours!

It looks like due to EMH at DHS, we will have to switch our DHS and 1st MK times. This way we ca get FPs for TSM on Day 2! (Sorry, that was a lot of acronyms...)

Draft 2-
Day 1: AK, MK, Dinner- The Wave
Day 2: DHS, Epcot, Dinner- Chefs De France
Day 3: MK Breakfast- Monorail to Cpt. Cooks to try Tonga Toast!!!! YES!


I also was thinking about going to the bar (Top of the World?) on top of BLT after The Wave. My parents are the DVC members, but don't follow any of the boards and aren't aware of the bar/lounge. If anyone has any pictures, I would love to see them!

Yay! That's what I was hoping for when I requested our wish date. I was going to make it for Spring Break (before I started reading the boards) but my son's spring break and my spring break are on different weeks so I figured why bother? I'll just pull him outta school for a week. I am thinkin I am going to be really glad that I did!

Okay, since I am going, Mom has decided that she is not planning at all. Now onto Draft 3!!!

Day 1:
Land in Orlando at 9:15 AM!
ME over to BLT, check in and leave our carry-on bags
AK- Just Mom and I (Dad is still in his conference)
Lunch- Flame Tree BBQ
MK- Still just Mom and I
Dinner- The Wave @ 7:25 to meet Dad
Epcot- Probably by myself for EMH until midnight


Day 2:
Breakfast- In the room
DHS- EMH! 8:00AM
Lunch- Big River Grille and Brewery
Epcot- open until 9pm
Dinner- Chefs De France @ 6:30


Day 3:
Breakfast- Monorail to Cpt. Cooks to try Tonga Toast!!!! YES!
MK- opens @ 9am
Say goodbye to M&D and hop on the ME at 1something...
