South side of the building, rooms 24 to 44 on floors 7 to 16 are all completed on the refurbishment, read it in Disney Food Blog today

Yep, those are the high floors in the South Tower. Those have been done and the lower floors in the South Tower hopefully are done soon and the walkway reopens. Someone speculated they will move to the top floors of the North Tower soon.

I stayed there during all the construction in January and the walkway closed and I still decided to buy so I guess it truly is my favorite hotel

I am staying for a few nights in June, and hoping that by then 3/4 is done and 1/4 is under reno which should guarantee us a refurbed room.

At Bay Lake Tower this week, in a two bedroom lock off if anyone has any questions. We did get a refurbished room even though I put in no requests and left it to fate. Only minor complaints so far. We had to ask for ice cube trays to be brought to the room, and no broom in the room to sweep up after our two year old grand daughter. Not happy that the skybridge walkway is closed, that has been a pain with contemporary elevators, but that is temporary I realize.

Can you tell what floors are currently being worked on? With the walkway closed, I am assuming that the lower floors on the south tower are still out of inventory/being renovated.

I don’t know exactly what floors, but yes lower floors on south side are what is being worked on now.

If you don’t care about hearing the music, all of the elevator bays on the North side of the building have huge floor to ceiling windows and benches.

As @CarolynFH pointed out, there’s the outdoor balcony off the bridge going from BLT to the 4th floor of the CR.

Is anyone at BLT currently?? Someone on the 19th posted the sky bridge is closed, but is this still the case? And is one elevator bank still closed?

Trying to decide if it’s worth the hassle to take advantage of being able to walk to/from Wednesday’s EEH and then split stay with BCV to do the waterpark on our move day

I have seen at least 3 posts of pictures/videos of people on the skybridge at BLT. Also reports of inventory opening for May so my guess is another chunk is finished. I am waiting to hear if another bank goes down on the North side.

I'm on a waitlist for a 1BR lake view for May 2-4. Really hoping there is a chance. (Also put in for a 2BR at OKW just in case.) We added my daughter and her roommate to our trip and our theme park view studio at BLT is not going to cut it. Starting to freak out a bit...

The guy at the check in desk told me when we arrived this morning I would probably get a refurbished room b/c the other side would be closing Sunday for the next phase and our reservation is longer than that. So assuming he is correct they plan to start the North side Sunday beginning with the lower floors (since we had a resort view booked which are the lower floor rooms. Also community hall has reopened.
