Bay Lake Tower info

Hi All - Considering our first stay at Bay Lake Towers and have a few questions.

How is the pool? Any info on the slide at the pool (important to the teenagers)? Adequate seating?

Can Bay Lake Tower residents also use the Contemporary pool?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!!

Pool is quiet but you can use the contemporary one that has a larger slide.

My kids loved the pool there. It was quiet and there was tons of room the sit.

We own at BLT because ti is by far our favorite resort. The pool is great...typically very quiet and seats are available. For a livelier atmosphere and a slightly better slide, you are able to use the facilities at the Contemporary.

Seating is good. Slide is small for teens.

If you really want quiet, you can sit on the beach, then head up to the pool when you want to take a dip! The beach entrance is right behind the hot tub, to the left of the pool bar.

To follow up on the OP's question...how long is the walk from Bay Lake Tower to the Contemporary pool area? Do you have to go inside to get there?

No, there are sidewalks outside that take you from one to the other. You will need your room key/MB for access to the pools, but you can go back and forth between them without going inside a building.

I ageee with others. My only change is during the day I prefer CR but at night BLT. The slide has Mickey heads all lite up on it and it's cute. I have watched the Epcot fireworks from blt hot tub as well.
