Okay, yet another thing I just can't seem to figure out.
I see a lot of people trying to get a green car.
I saw the differences are the scores in HM and fireworks (and for green some questions and other stuff).
But, how do you get a different color if your car is already blue? you can't replay the quest (as far as I can tell).

Worse, I created a new character, got good scores in HM and fireworks, and still ended up with a blue car. What am I missing here?

I am missing that new car smell.

There are actually different quests! When you go to do one of the car quests, there is a quest selector thing somewhere at the top.

Yup, you can press next quest and it will show what color car you could go for.. it gives you a separate color once you complete the quests (You can do them all if you want )

You can earn a blue, pink, yellow, and green car. Each is a different quest. Each with increasing difficulty. (By the way, in MY vmk, there is no green car. 280,000 in fireworks - egad! My yellow car works just fine. )

I thought the yellow car was only for the Mars track.
Little did I know any car would work....

...and I did the pink car quest (I think, I'll have to double-check) twice. The first time there was a glitch in VMK and I didn't get awarded the pin. So I did the quest a second time and that time it awarded me the pin.

Imagine my surprise the next day when I receive a message stating there was a problem with the car quest and I didn't receive the pin when I should have, so VMK gave me a SECOND pink car quest pin.

So naturally I combined them since they cannot be traded. I may be the only person with a 2-star pink car pin.
