I did watch two alien movies.

District 9 which was kind of dumb, if not a last resort I wouldnt of watched it. One smart alien out of millions from a soceity that can travel through space?

Then War of the Worlds. Excellent story, realistic aliens, poor plot on the big screen.

Havent seen Battle LA yet. I heard it and Skyline were pretty lame.

Signs was aweful, though I thought the acting except for Mel Gibson was great, making it a good movie.

But no Aliens are coming to earth, the Blue Planet, if they are affected by water without out wearing a rain coat. No kidding, it ruined Shyamalan's story with such a big flaw.

I liked Signs. I found it rather odd though that the E T's would be affected by water, and no doubt it be in all of its various forms too. One would think that they (E T's) would have already known about our weather conditions.

Anyone else watch this film? Know about the real battle in 42'? Thoughts on E T's?
