I'm looking for a battery charger for my new digicam that uses AA batteries. There are alot on the market, and I'm so confused! Getting ready to go to Disney in a few weeks, and I would like to find something before then.

Thanks for any help!

I bought a set up from target. Its a rayovac recharger.
The set contains the main charger unit, electrical cord, AND a car adapter so you can charge on the road!

This unit will charge batteries in just an hour and has trickle charge. That means as long as you leave the batterie in the unit and the unit plugged in it will send a charge to the battery automatically when a battery starts to lose its charge.
Mine will hold 4 AA, and 2 9 volt.
Main reason I got was for my GPS device which is a major major battery eater. It would go through a set of regular batteries in 8 hours. I have saved myself alot of money with the rechargeables.

Dan... This is one of the 2 I think I've narrowed it down to. I read some reviews on the net, and it was down to this one and the Lightning Pack 4000N by ripvan100.com. Do you have the mhc401 yourself? I really like that it has the car charger, whereas the 4000N would need another diverter. It is very small and has also gotten very good reviews. It's about $20.

Thanks for the info!

I charge everything with it- my Powerex 2200mAH NiCd AAs,
my digital camera Li-ion, my miniDV L-ion, my potrable cd burner's Li-ion.
you can adjust the thing for any battery contacts.

its even good at reviving seemingly dead ones, according to other users.

Actually, I have this, the 401 was not available when I purchased, though I think they are similar. It is great.
