Which brand of batteries do you use for your digital camera? I have recently bought a digital camera and the regular AA's that came with it didn't last long at all. I bought a 4 pk of Energizer Lithium AA's But I was wondering what all of you that have had a digital for a while use? Do you use the rechargeable batteries, if so which of those do you use. I looked at the rechargable one...there are lots of different charges and batteries. Which do you prefer?

We bought a re-chargeable base and 2 sets of re-chargeable batteries (we have 2 Canon digital cameras). Seems to work better than the Energizers I was eatting up. Try Target or Walmart.

rechargable batteries,, buy the basic kit with a charger,, get a name brand one,, get an extra set of batteries also,, look on the batteries and look for a number,, they will be something like 1800,, 2000,, 2100,, #s like that,, find and use the batteries that have the highest #s as they are the ones that last for the most shots on a camera,,

Definately go with rechargeables. I have panasonic quick charge batteries that charge in 15 minutes, which is great when you wake up and realize you were too tired to remember to charge them the night before!

We do the same thing as above - we have two sets of rechargeable batteries, not sure which brand and the charger. They are AA's, so the charger is pretty small, it easily fits in the camera bag we have.

rechargeable batteries. Brand doesn't matter to me, mAH does. If you need AAs rechargeables, get batteries that are 2000 mAH or higher (Energizer makes 2500 mAH) - they'll last longer because they have more juice in them.

If you can, turn off the LCD - that'll save you tons of power too.

I use the Kodak rechargable lithium ion batteries, but then I also have a Kodak camera that will charge the batteries when it is on its base.

I only use regular batteries in cases of emergency like when I was on vacation and didn't have power to charge anything for 3 weeks or if I accidentally run my batteries out by not turning off my camera during the day

I use PowerEx Rechargable Batteries and love them. Here is a link:

Ditto on the PowerEX (Maha). Their batteries and chargers as reported as some of the best on some of the digital photography sites. I have a set of 4 AA and will be buying more. I also have one of their international "smart" chargers. It has worked well at home in the US and internationally.

If you must use disposable batteries, you have to use the lithium ones. The regular Energizers only last for 10-15 pictures on my camera. I get about a 100 pictures on the lithiums.

I bought the Energizer rechargables from Target for something like $17. Came with 4 AA batteries. I charge them up every night and then carry both sets with me in the parks. Usually I only go through 1 set, but I always make sure I charge them both up at night.

I use Monster Power brand rechargables (1800mah).

Maybe it's my camera, or maybe it's the fact that I don't use the LCD all the time, maybe it's the batteries, but whatever the cause, my batteries last me all day without going even half empty.

A set of 4 AA with charger is about $20, and a set of 4 without the charger is about $15.
