Bathrooms?

Never had a problem with Disney bathrooms. They are always cool and clean and not stinky.

... And a note - Disney World bathrooms also have baby changing areas in the men's rooms so you don't have to do all that stuff on your own.

I LOVED that about Disney. DH changed DD's diapers 99% of the time because there was no waiting at the changetables in the men's bathrooms. I got a real break.

This time though DD is toilet training so no men's bathroom for her.

Glad you asked, I was curious about this too since all the times I go it's not that hot outside or its cold to know, but we'll be there next week.
We have been at Universal when its very hot and their bathrooms do not have AC.

Disney restrooms are some of the cleanest I have seen. A tip if you can manage it is to not hit the ones closest to the entrance/exit. Those are always jam-packed! We have several we like to visit because they are out of the way and never have lines.

I agree - restrooms are usually very clean and always nice and cool.

I have even heard CMs singing various Disney songs while they are cleaning the restrooms. Heard a very nice rendition of "Part of Your World" from the Little Mermaid last fall - almost started clapping.

The one on the back side of Epcot's Character connection has always had a pretty bad smell to it - almost sewerish, but its typically clean.

Pete's Garage had terrible drainage problems and was always nasty, but its closed now.

Given the day and crowd there may be issues, but generally WDW bathrooms aren't too bad. I wouldn't ever blanket a statement that they are all clean and perfect.

That is too funny!:rotfl:

We've always experienced clean & nicely AC'd restrooms!

Disney bathroom have always seems very clean to me for a public bathroom of course.

That whole building, including the character connection, smells bad. We stuck our heads in one time, thinking about getting autographs, and turned around and left. It smelled horrible! What is with that?

WDW park bathrooms are in general the cleanest I've ever seen in a public facility. I make a point of point of telling the maintenace CM's I see in the ladies rooms "thank you for doing a really good job". They seldom hear that, but it makes their day that someone notices and appreciates their efforts!

Got to spread a little pixie dust to the hard working CMs. They have a hard job keeping those places clean with all the park crowds every day.

I wonder if it is basically the whole drainage system at Epcot in general. While that is the most distinct place I've noticed it - there tends to be a wiff of it around many of their facilities. The stand alone bathrooms in future world (outside TT and Land) tend to have issues too. We stopped in the Imagination bathrooms the other night and it was very similar. :confused3
