Does anyone know offhand or where I can look to find some general dimensions of the showers? We will be on the Fantasy rooms 7534/7536. There are three people traveling with us that have not cruised before and I want to give them a general idea of what they will be dealing with.
Thanks!

I don't know the dimensions. The shower area is rather small. The tub is big enough for kids, but not adults. I am short - 4'10" and the tub was tight when I tried to take a bath.

The showers in the spa area are larger and free for adults to use.

I am a woman of size. The bathtub/shower on the Fantasy was small, but the shower curtain curves out. It never brushed up against me while I showered. I never felt cramped.

I never had trouble with the small size of the shower, other than hitting my elbow on the wall a few times while shampooing. I learned to tuck them in and

We had room 7683 and this was our exact layout

This was the layout with the shower/tub just to the fright of the toilet.

The biggest problem I had was with the shower head. No matter what I did I couldn't get it to spray towards the back of the tub. It was either spraying towards the wall or the shower curtain.

You had a category 11A - and the category 11 staterooms are the only ones that don't have a split bath. The OP has staterooms that end with an even number, so those are not inside staterooms (all oceanview and veranda staterooms are even numbers, insides are uneven numbers). So, they will certainly have a split bath.

OP, have you looked at the room layout on the DCL website? Those pictures like the one above are available for every category.

Agreed. I've only taken a shower in the room once, opting to use the spa showers the rest of the time. Much larger and very convenient, plus it doesn't wind up steaming up the stateroom.

Shower size; think a little bit bigger than a phone booth :tilt:. With 2 DDs & my wife, like phinz noted above; I usually use the showers in the men's locker room, plus there is also a steam room available as well.

You will have the split bath. You will have a sink w/ vanity and storage in both rooms (shower / tub in 1 and toilet in the other). The tub and shower itself is small, but not tiny. The shower is doable, but if you want more elbow room, head to the spa area. Those are large size showers. They are in the locker rooms. The locker rooms also have other amenities (q-tips, disposable razors, shampoo & conditioner not in the staterooms, lotions, robes & slippers, lockers and steam rooms).

my concern with all hotels and, of course, Magic (when we sailed her a while ago) was the HEIGHT of the shower head. At 6'2"+ I HATE to duck down to wash anything above my chest. I realize that less pipe in the wall means $$$ saved, but it is still an annoyance to me.

ANYHOW, I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the shower....I mean, you wouldn't want to have a party in there or anything, but it was perfectly ok. Its a cruise, not a 4-star hotel. Like the shower water itself, sometimes you just have to go with the flow...............

My son is 6'5" and opted most days to go to the spa. He is 16 but looks older, nobody questioned him showering there.
