Bathroom question

Do you keep some type of air freshener in your bathroom? In our house, all bathrooms have Some type of Lysol spray, or similiar.
I know bathrooms are suppose to smell, , but we all use the spray in this house.
Ive had my son tell me, that hes done his business at other peoples houses, and there was no spray .

No, I don't and I haven't seen it at too many houses either. But, honestly, I think it's odd. Air freshener stinks and it's fake and I think it draws more attention to what you've done in the bathroom than NOT using spray.

We turn the fan on. Even if I see air freshener in someone's bathroom I probably wouldn't use it. To me it would be like scrubbing the toilet. I agree with Christine, I don't feel like "air freshener" freshens anything.

Maybe someone has a good recommendation on a spray that doesn't do that!

Yankee candle plug in.....very nice fresh scent. I use the sage & citrus in our bathroom, clean cotton in the laundry room bathroom and Home Sweet Home is DD's (that's the one she wanted).

We have spray, if my husband lived at your house you would too.

We use an ocean scent spray from Bath & Body Works. It actually smells very good, is not an overwhelming scent, and it does good at cover other, uh, odors.

We have exhaust fans in all the bathrooms and Yankee Candles/matches in the ones used mainly for smells. I'm not a fan of aerosals and wouldn't like that kind of stuff sprayed in our house.

I just bought one of the new Bath & Bodyworks plug-ins. Normally our bathroom has nothing, but I have to say, it smells pretty nice in there now. I got the Cucumber-Melon.

Spray is all three of our bathrooms. My family could care less, but I am kind of a fanatic about it. Most sprays do not help, but I like Febreeze - Meadows and Rain. I really did not think I would be in the minority here, interesting. What a funny thread!

Yes, we use the fart fan and Lysol NeutraAir spray in citrus -- and I've brought a can to work. I've yet to meet a spray that covers/removes odors better than this stuff.

Trust me, especially at work where it's 2 men and 2 women sharing a small office with one bathroom, this stuff is a godsend!

I do understand what many have said about the spray being worse in a lot of cases. My old office used lavender spray and it ended up just wafting out as lavender poop.

not all houses have exhaust fans .
ours is 56 yrs old...no fans. no power unless the light switch is turned on....so no plug ins either. . guess its spray for us.

We also use exhaust fans. DH and I both have allergies aggravated by sprays, and we have 3 bathrooms and only 2 pottytrained people. You can always just go use a different bathroom if one of them is momentarily unpleasant.

My DH is a spray fanatic. As soon as I walk out of the bathroom he asks me if I sprayed.

I personally don't think poop is any better smelling when you add some floral nuances to it.

It's not! That's why the Lysol NeutraAir is so great. It neutralizes the poop and leaves a fresh citrus-y scent! Not citrus poop -- just citrus!
