I joined in. This will probably be my last exchange for awhile. As I'll be moving at the end of January, and WE DON'T KNOW WHERE... it'll either be in the same city -OR- WAY across country to Northern California.

It all depends on what the DBF is offered as to where we'll end up in a little over 30 days. I'm scared to death! I mean I'm thrilled, but dang.., I don't know where we're gonna be, we're in a cliffhanger right now. Wheee!

Yes, that I know. I've visited colder climes before, spent time there, too,like Easton Ct. in a blizzard no less, and I do have winter clothes, but yeah if we move there it will be a change. *chuckles*

I did get an e-mail that they are bringing back some old favorites for a limited time.

As for N. CA....that's where I am from
S. F. doesn't get snow....maybe once every 10 years.....a dusting.
Not much ice problems either. I only remember scrapping windows a couple of times.
S. F. is cooler than the rest of the area because of the water on all sides.....lots of fog!
DS lives a bit south in Sunnyvale, so we go a couple times a year still. (Funny he moved (because of job) back where we moved from ).
VERY expensive area!!

Can I get you/your son to send me an apartment guide/home guide from the area? It's possible that's where we're moving to. We don't know for sure yet, the offer hasn't been made. Heck the DBF goes in for a face to face interview on 1/6, he flies from here to there, and it'll be interesting to see if the company he's interviewing with can match/beat what he's making here.

I'm honestly not looking forward to having to move ACROSS country again. I did this twice in the last 3 years already, once out to South California back in 2002 and back home to Florida in 2003. Do they have any good Massage Therapy schools out there?
