My frind went shopping in MA yesterday and most evrything was 75% off gift baskets at that store and she cleaned the store out. Why can't all stores be the same! Does anyone know when the stores go to 75% off the baskets everywhere?

I went to two Bath & Body's today. At the first one I picked up a $5 large lotion in Freesia (the one that's 50% bigger than their normal $9 ones) and a large body cream in Candy Apple for $5.25. Their gift sets were only 40% off and there was a sign stating this.

At the second I got a large lotion in the candy apple for $5.25 and two of the $1 cherry blossom travel lotions (the new scent out in February) that were near the register. They had TONS of gift sets. Some xmas, some spring and summer from this past year. There were no discount signs up at all and no markdowns. I asked a girl and she said it depended on the set. That summer/spring were 75% off and holiday was either 40 or 50% off. I bought three sets of cotton blossom- the travel size that came w/ lotion, body spray, shower gel and bubble bath. Normally $16.50- I got them for $4 a piece! They came in a big turquoise box- didn't even look springy at all- the white and turquoise design on the box could have been mistaken for a snowflake design. Another I almost bought was a $5 set in a leather basket w/ a med sized lotion and shower gel in some kind of limey scent with a little mini candle. Very cute and could be used all year round. Also 75% off. There was a ton of other spring/summer stuff 75% off but I had already spent a boatload at Yankee Candle so I held off.

Pays to ask the employees in this situation!! I got three gift sets, two travel lotions and a large candy apple lotion for $20!

I was at Crossgates yesterday and I was told Nothing was 75%off, Grrr! Guess I'll have to head back tommorow.

I went to 2 today - I used to work there and don't even like most of their stuff but I did find a few things I like. They did have some good prices on things like the body butters, spa line, travel size stuff, etc. They have a lot of discountinued merchandise for 50-75% off but the products differ from store to store. All the XMas gift sets were 40% at both of the stores I went to, and their XMas candles and decor were 50%. They had TONS left at both stores.

All I bought were 3 bottles of conditioner for 75% off, 3 travel size hairsprays at 50% off (like $1.20 a piece), and 1 Blueberry Muffin candle for 75% off. Just paid $14 for it all so I was happy.

I wanted candles, really - like the Henri Bendels but there wasnt much. Lots of old scents, real essence candles, soaps, etc. Their Pleasures was 3 for $18, if I read right on my way by. I'll keep watching the weekly specials.

I went to BBW yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find many of the True Blue Spa tems at 75% off! These products are regularly $15.00, and are now $5.00,

Actually, this is only 66% off. Still a nice deal. If they were 75% off they would be $3.75 each.

Gr! I was just there today looking at their True Blue Spa line products which I LOVE. No signs anywhere stating that these were being marked down. Other displays had 40%, 50% and 75% signs. I didn't realize they were 75% off!! I guess it pays to ask. I'm so upset with myself right now...

I spent $40 yesterday and another $30 today. I really need to stay away from that place. I actually have 3 stores near me. Two in the mall were picked clean. The one at the outlet has a much LARGER selection. Especially my DD's American Girl line.

Weird!! The girl I talked to (a relatively short cute blonde girl) said that they weren't ringing up but she "KNEW" they were supposed to be 75% off because they were from the spring. She said that yesterday people were stocking up on huge bags of stuff because there were $70 gift set bags for like $10

Probably you got an employee that didn't know what they were doing... I hate that.

Guess I should just be thankful that I lucked out... I did however buy the last three of the spring set that I wanted... maybe they had sold out of the rest of spring/summer by the time you got there... I guess that's what we'll hope. Sorry you couldn't find anything!! I was going to try for the Colonie Center B&BW tomorrow. Wonder if there's anything good there

The B&BW near me is only running 40% off gift sets. There are a few things at 75% off, mostly those large tote bags from the fall and the ones leftover from the summer. Just a heads up- I bought one of the new canvas totes that comes with samples- the hang tag listed that it also came with a page of spring coupons. I get home, no coupons. When I went back to the store I was told the coupon packets were all shipped separately from the bags, so you have to bring your receipt back in to the store to get them. Other than that, it's a decent beach bag with nice samples in it . Funny story I want to share about my DH : my DD13 was grocery shopping with him last weekend, and she said he was smelling all the soaps " trying to find the one that mommy buys that I really like ". Wait till he finds out that the soap " he " really likes is the B&BW American Girl soap

Went to the one in Colonie Center in NY this morning. They had the Cranberry holiday scent which I had never seen before- reminded me a lot of the sun ripened raspberry scent so I picked it up (the body cream). I also got 3 gift sets at 75% off - a cute cotton blossom travel set in a woven ceramic white bowl w/ a flower on it (could definitely use the bowl as a candy dish), a spa package of facial stuff and a lavendar leather round box w/ three small candles and B&BW matches in it (box would make a cute jewelry box). Also got the last travel size $1 white cherry blossom lotion and a $2 candy apple antibacterial travel size lotion. As opposed to Crossgates, they had a separate table with 75% off stuff.

Only spent $25 on everything!!!
