Bath and Body Works- Anyone else have problems?

I placed a B& BW order on Dec 28th and got some really great deals. It has never arrived. They say FedEx has it and lost it. FedEx says they got the shipping info but never recieved the box.

They (BBW) are perfectly willing to refund my money, but then I don't get the deals! I want my order. They seem unwilling to "look" for it and since everything I ordered is now sold out they can't replace my order.

They did credit me the shipping today, but other than that I'm stuck. I chose to wait it out a few days rather than cancel the order and loose the bargains.

Anyone else having problems?

Exactly the same for me. they claim that two boxes when missing, all at 75% off. They did the refund but of course I would have preferred the items at the discount, and now there is not much in the stores.........
 
I finally got my order last night after many so called attempted deliveries! I satrted to call the local fed-ex center tot alk to the manager and it got the ball rolling. I beleive they keep the "lost" packages so what nice presents for them!
 
I placed my order on the 28th, and just got my box yesterday. Fedex ships it to Orlando, and then delivers it to the US mail sort center. Then it seems to creep to South Alabama. Once it is delivered to the Orlando sort center, you cannot track the shipment because it gets delivered by your mail carrier. You might want to give it a couple of more days before you cancel it. I had this same issue with LLBean and my daughters backpack. It took almost 3 weeks to get it. Ridiculous!
 

I had no problem at all with my order. I'm sorry you guys had troubles. I got some great deals on holiday products.

Many Many problems with BBW. I ordered some stuff on Dec 24th when their site was having the 50% off plus another 50% off glitch (or otherwise 75% off everything) I ordered mostly candles for gifts for friends, family and co-workers and they sent my order in several shipments. I have been short changed on items, received broken items and one package was never delivered as it was damaged intransist. Here's just one message I posted earlier about the troubles with BBW.

I think I just got the rudest customer service person ever at BBW. I could tell right away just by her voice and I should have just hung up then but I didn't and was very polite to her during our whole conversation.

I called about my order that fedex is returning to them that was damaged in transist. Anyway she said I would have to reorder everything now and then once they get it back they will issue me a refund. Didn't apologize or anything. Ok no problem except that now everything is out of stock. I had ordered 10 of one item and the lady asked why I was ordering so many. I don't think it's any of her business but I told her at 75% off I was buying gifts for friends and family. Is 10 really too much to order of one item that was marked down to $4. (by the way it was Jasmine/Vanilla Massage Oil) So then she proceeded to tell me that it's illegal to order stuff from them to resell. What???? She is giving me the 3rd degree over ordering 10 items??? I could see it if I was buying 50-100 items. I am sure there are lots of people ordering gobs of stuff just to resell on ebay. I saw several posts regarding the bears that people were going to resell on ebay what's wrong with that??? Good for them!!

Also I asked how it could be out of stock when this is a normal thing they carry in the stores not a special holiday/seasonal item. She told me that she had no idea where they get their stuff from. She was very rude and not polite at all I think somebody needs some more training on customer service. At that point I asked nicely to speak to a manager and of couse nobody answered and I got disconnected. I think I have just about had it now with BBW and all their problems.

Oh yeah and then when I told her my damaged package was schedule to be delivered on Sat she said that wasn't true as they don't deliver on Sat ummm that's not right because the bear I ordered from them was delivered this past Sat. But gee I must have been imagining that. LOL

The problem is they aren't equipped yet to sell items via mail order. They don't have the proper packaging to support the items so they don't get damaged. Take Disney for example when you get something from them like a snowglobe they have special stryfoam that is made just for that individual product. Now if BBW was sending you a snowglobe they would be wrapping it in bubble wrap if you are lucky or just placing it in the box with their brown filler paper. Anyway that's my 2 cents.

I just received the second part of my order that was placed on the 28th. Poorly packaged with half of the products out of the gift baskets. They fit 25 gift baskets in one box! Nothing damaged, though. It was on the truck for three days awaiting shipment.

25 gift baskets? LOL Good thing you didn't have to talk to the customer service person I got.
 
OP here, I still haven't gotten my stuff. I guess I'll wait until tomorrow and then call for a refund. I think I'm going to have to ask to speak to a manager, because I am really frustrated by their lack of customer service.
