Bath and Body Semi-Annual Sale

I saw the previous thread and thought I would add one as well.

I work at Bath and Body and would like to add a few more things as well...

It is the Semi-Annual sale right now...

Soaps ARE $3 right now...but check back. Later in the month they go to 4 for $10(usually, they don't tell us all of the deals early)

Wallflowers(like Glade plug in, but better) are $5 for starter kits and refills.(reg. price $12.50)

Select 3 wick candles(MY FAVE) are $10 (reg. price $19.50). It includes winter and fall scents. So if you like warm cozy scents these are for you!

Room sprays and home fragrence oils are $3 each.

Right now Signiture Classic scents(such as Counrty Apple, Juniper Breeze, Plumeria...etc...)body lotions are $3. Later int he month the deals change. Toward the end of sale they are usually like 5 for $20.

And as the other thread states there are table of 50% and 75% off items as well...I set these table myself on Saturday night. Some of the things WE had(since every store doesn't always have the same sale items) are:

-Holiday Traditions Body care(Vanilla Fig, Vanilla Bean Noel, Winter Candy Apple etc.) 50% off

-Double layer and aloe infused socks(awesome) 50% off

-MOST accessories(loofas and other sponges) 50% off

-Holiday TEMPTATIONS body care(Twisted Peppermint, Nut Cracker Sweet, Gingerbread etc.) 75% off

-ALL Lambie items 75% off excluding robes

i received a receipt with a survery number and a coupon of 10 off a $30 purchase if you completed the survey. I see there is no expiration date, but I did the survery back in September....is the coupon still valid?

It should be...we take them, but every store is different. There is no experation printed on them, so I'm 99% sure you sholdn't have a problem.

I received some lotion for Christmas, and the scent drives my sinuses crazy. Can I exchange it for a different scent w/o a receipt?

Either way, I'll be checking out the sale since I got a gift card too!

I have my units for over a year and they still heat up just fine. If I had one stop working after a couple months, I would return/exchange it.

Yes you may...but you will only get store credit for the item's price at the time you return it.

I haven't seen any at my store yet(but I didn't glance at the discontinued scents either). A lot of sale stuff is "box up" merchandise. Like on a specific day corporate will say, "Okay box up the rest of Fresh Cuc for sale". And that's exactly what happens. So it really depends on what your store HAD and what they MAY reccive in a shipment during sale.

You can chack online for discontinued fragrances as well.

They should last for at least a few months. I have some that stopped working after only a few month and just assumed I needed new ones, but we do exchange them as well. Just use your personal judgement. If you think the product hasn't lived out it's life then return it.

*Just a little insider info
We actually have a 100% guarantee on everything we sell, even body care products. I have returned lotions that were seriously like 5 years old with an inch of product left in it(for the current price of course which was like $2.75). They technically HAVE to return it. But you'll always find managers who think they are the moral and ethics police and choose not to.*

Like I said, use your judgement. If you feel like you're not completely satisified then return it.

I was a bit disappointed with their items in the 75% off bin. Some years I've seen the holiday scents as well as aromatherapy things included. This time there was just foam shower gel. Do you know if they will add things to the 75% off bin as the days go on? And are their different items at different stores? Thank you.

We had some of the discontinued Aromatherepy items on another fixture not the table with the bins.

Things do get added throughout the sale, but for the most part the "good stuff" is found in the first week.

You should be able to call your store and ask if they have it, or ask them to pull it aside for you IF they get it.(as far as the aromatherepy goes)

You can get a lot of the discontinued stuff online,but not for the same sale prices. Sometime during this sale the Aromatherepy and True Blue Spa is supposed to be buy 2 get 2 free.

Occasionally they get more in shipment though. I just shopped there and got some great deals. The small candles were $2.75 and like you said, some of the 3 wicks were on sale for $10. It's a great time to stock up on candles for next year!!

The loofahs (at our store) were 75% off ($1.75) so I got a few of those to stick in the closet, too.

MOST of the people who work there love their job, myself included and it shows. Just like Disney(LOL) the company takes our customer service almost as seriously as our sales plans.

I guess if you believe in the buisiness you work for and the product it shows!

In the past and only at this time of year I have been able to get glycerine type soaps with some of the scents like sweet pea..have you seen those at your store? We love them

Is there any Freesia in the sale this time around?.....not the newer Sheer Freesia, but the old classic Freesia. I stocked up several years ago when it hit the semi-annual sale, but haven't seen it again for several years now and it is my all time favorite.

Just returned from the store near my office. (No Freesia btw!)

I got over $90 worth of stuff, paid $30. And I had $10+ still left on a gift card so even less than that actually out of pocket! I had a $10 off $40 printable coupon.

Got some hand soaps, mini anti bac bottles, a 'gift' soap/lotion (big bottles) with a holder for the 2 bottles, a travel pack with mini sweet pea shower gel and lotion, lip balm, look ma new hands, energy shampoo and condition (I think) from the 'gift' area also (50% off), a sweet pea lotion and perfume gift set, a couple loofahs, a foot stone...I think that was everything. Good deals!
