We are planning our first cruise for October 30th and I have several simple questions I'm sure you can help me with.

What time must you be off the ship that last morning? I've read out of your room by 8 but how about off the ship?

I know there are buffets for breakfast and Lunch but can't find sample menues. I was also wondering what was available (other than room service)If you chose not to go to the dinning room for an evening.

Can the kids eat at the kids clubs if they don't want to leave and I assume it would be the standard kid fare - chick strips, mac & cheese, pizza, pb&j?

Are there laundry facilities on board? We are traveling down for a wedding a few days before our cruise and staying several days after also and I hate to pack for the whole time if I can do a quick wash while sipping an exotic drink (or 2). The fact that I'm asking this question may mean I need a vacation more than I think!

Anyone know if they do anything special for the kids on Halloween? Should I pack costumes?

Any help you can give me would be appreciated!

the Kid's Clubs don't serve food - they take the kids to the buffet up on deck 9 at a set time.

I don't remember ever seeing "menus" for the buffets.

I think you have to be off the ship around 9am.

And yes there are a couple of small laundry rooms onboard - plan on getting to them EARLY in the morning, and possibly sitting there to stack oiur your domain.

DCL wants the ship cleared of all passengers by 9AM.

There is no set menu for the buffets, breakfast is always the same, usual breakfast fare. Lunch, there usually is a theme, Italian day, Seafood Day, Mexican Day, you get the picture

Based on your sail date, you'll be on the Wonder. Other than the dining rooms in the evenings, you can grab something at one of the pool quick service locations. I think at least one stays open past 6PM to grab something, but other than that, you're only options are the dining room or room service. On the Magic, with the exception of the first and last night, they do offer a psudo buffet at Topsiders for a casual meal for dinner.

Yes, your kids can eat with the clubs, though as mentioned above the food isn't actually served in the clubs. The excort them upstairs to the buffet, and they serve them there.

Yes, there are laundry rooms on decks 2,6 and 7. They have about 3 washers and 4 dryers. They also get VERY Crowded, so either plan on doing laundry at a strange hour, like 6AM, or plan on waiting for a machine.

DCL usually does a trick-or treat of sorts and there usually is a costume contest. I'd bring costumes.
